About a year later, when Alison was pregnant with their first child they reached out to me to design the nursery & transform the garage into an office/ lounge. Later we did a total makeover in their living room, and recently I completed the nursery for their newest addition the the family. For me, as a designer with a great passion for the home, I absolutely love to be able to build long term relationships with the people I work with. room2improve worked with the clients in this Birmingham Michigan home for about a year. The client went room by room. The rugs and the armoire were existing, and the client wanted to incorporate them into a more eclectic and contemporary look. Through our consultation services, they achieved what they wanted without the long term commitments and service fees of some interior design firms. Adjacent continuous floor-to-ceiling walnut handleless cabinets maintain unified flat panel visual effect, with internal partition divided into long hanging, short hanging and drawer areas to maximize vertical storage volume. Cabinet hinges and slides adopt American standard heavy-duty hardware to withstand frequent long-term opening and closing use in high-frequency luxury closet space.

Bathroom wallpaper installation – Denver, CO. We installed rustic faux-plaster wallpaper with earthy undertones and a matte texture, perfect for pairing with natural stone and exposed beams in this Denver bathroom. The material was moisture-resistant and applied using reinforced adhesive for long-term durability around a freestanding tub and vanity alcove.

Previous railings were about 2'-0" tall with oversize spacing and rust. The new railings were brought up to code with 36" tall top bar and maximum 4" openings. The finish was a mahogany brown powder coat over hot-dip galvanizing to protect from rust in the long-term.
