For our San Carlos project, we remodeled the entire home. We removed walls, changed the floorplan, added square footage, and made the spaces more functional instead of the maze it was before. Here in the kitchen area we installed wood looking porcelain flooring throughout, neutral paint, white cabinets with a maple espresso stained island, white subway tiled backsplash tile stainless steel mosaic accent, and white granite counters.

The Cabinet Connection

This kitchen has beautiful Waypoint cabinets. The color on the perimeter is Maple Cognac and on the island the color is Maple Espresso. For the tops they chose granite, the color is called New Bianco Lavendar.

Kitchen and Desk Area: Waypoint 650F door style with Painted Silk finish. Countertops are Hanstone Ajanta Quartz. Master Bath: Waypoint 410F door style with Maple Cognac finish. Countertop is cultured marble and the color is called Carrera Sage with wave bowl sinks. Laundry: Contractors Choice Newberry Birch door style with the Sarsaparilla finish. Countertops are laminate and the color is White Twill. Basement Bar: Waypoint 410F door style with Maple Espresso finish. Countertops are laminate and the color is Seasoned Planked Elm.

Bill & Joan's Kitchen is a step out of the ordinary. Their two tone kitchen is separate from base to walls. While, I was at their beautiful home in Milford, MI, I forgot to photograph their matching fireplace and their powder room, but I hope the kitchen pictures will display the style enough

The large island, created with Waypoint® 650 Maple Espresso cabinets, furniture legs and molding, fits easily into the kitchen layout providing plenty of workspace as well as ample seating.

Walk-up Bar in Espresso stained Rift Cut Oak and Maple. This little gem measures less than 6' long but packs all the necessities to service you and your guests for any occasion - resting just between the Kitchen and matching Entertainment Center for maximum convenience. The main focal point is the engraved lower doors with their concentric designs framing the glass front Cooler. Each side has interior liquor drawers built in for ease of selection when hunting for that seldom used liqueur. Above the open work surface hangs the stemware with LED lighting. The upper glass storage has 1/2" polished glass illuminated with cool operating LED lights all behind wood framed frosted glass inserts to match the white counter top

This transitional kitchen gives off very sophisticated vibes, complete with island seating, espresso wood cabinets, white countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

The vanity cabinets feature softclose drawers in a Maple Espresso finish. The counter tops are "Carolina Cream." Custom home built by Raleigh custom builder Stanton Homes.
