This is what I refer to as the "martini lounge." This awkward space between the kitchen and the master bedroom was long and narrow and no one knew quite what to do with it. By staging it to have purpose (a martini lounge) we gave it charm and made it very inviting.

This new modern front entry was created to give the house "a front door" but also to bring some of the modern detailing from the inside to the front door. The client was made aware he needed a front door but was perplexed about what that would look like. He loves his martini's and so over martini's we sketched a front entry incorporating a giant cocktail pick and olive!!!
