Several areas of the bath were designed with accessibility in mind. This stylish floating vessel sink allows for easy wheelchair access, while towel and grab bars rest within convenient reach of both the sink and shower stall.

This home is a typical suburban home in a planned community in Katy, Texas (outside of Houston). We took the existing pre-fab builder-grade stained cabinets and refaced them with poplar raised panel doors and drawer fronts. We extended the island and added the spindles. We added decorative feet to the cabinet bases. We installed custom panels on the new Jenn-Air appliances. We added decorative corbels under the bar and in the butler's pantry. The cabinets were painted with a base color of Sherwin Williams Macadamia (SW 6142) and then glazed with Van Dyke Brown (SW 70471). A clear sealer coat was then applied. The island was painted Storm Cloud (SW 6249) and then faux-finished with the same technique. The backsplash tile is from Arizona Tile and is called San Mateo Split Face.

This master bath glistens as you relax in the freestanding tub. The cabinetry includes a built in linen cabinet with open shelving that mirrors the graceful barrel ceiling and crystal chandelier.

The large custom shower is designed especially for steam showers. The transom can be closed while steaming. The steam element has controls inside the shower including an option for adding natural scented oils such as lavendar or eucalyptus. The fan controls are located right outside the shower door just in case you forget to turn it on. Either finish under the rainhead or use the multi head adjustable shower. We also opted to have this shower be curbless to visually add to the luxury appeal. Heated floors of course. This Master Ensuite reflects the light, water and earth elements found on this home's substantial lake front site in south Burlington. Wall mounted shower bench seat and a wall mounted Kohler Veil toilet are design details. Luxury feel of marble envelops and calms. The seating overlooks Lake Ontario - great spot for a steam shower. The master bedroom is split into this room with original fireplace, a sitting room and private porch. A wainscoting wall painted Sherwin Williams Mount Etna anchors the bed.

Teal is the operative color here: it's echoed in the overdyed hand knotted Persian rug, glass tile backsplash, velvet ottoman and accent wall. Bedroom Interior Design by Che Bella Interiors, serving the Minneapolis & St. Paul area - Our client had recently purchased a coveted lakefront home on the spectacular shoreline of Crystal Lake. While the location and breathtaking views were picture-perfect, the interior was ripe for a transformation and provided an inspiring canvas for a remodel. The scope of this 2020 project included the master bathroom and bedroom, which featured dated finishes, cramped spaces, and a lack of privacy. A wish list included removing the oversized tub, more bathroom storage, a modern color palette, texture, and enhancing privacy to transform their master retreat into the space of their dreams. Through creative space planning and artful design, we created a swoon-worthy master retreat featuring a soothing, inviting, romantic vibe – a perfect pairing with the home’s lakefront setting. Within the master bedroom, crisp white cabinetry and trim perfectly balance softer cork metallic wallpaper, a linen tufted headboard, and custom bedding and pillows. Inspired by the sugar plantation estates on the island of Barbados, “Orchid Beach” radiates a barefoot elegance. The bath features a full-size hydrotherapy tub below a large picture window looking out to a mature plumeria. The exquisite chamfered wall tile flows through the shower, and perfectly complements the runway of stunning marble penny tile insert on the floor. The master bath opens to reveal the orchid conservatory and meditation space. The orchid conservatory features four walls of lattice with oval portholes, an outdoor shower, lovely seating area to enjoy the beautiful flowers, and a relaxing bronze Cupid fountain. The challenge was to bring the outdoors in with the Orchid Conservatory while maintaining privacy. It is a dream oasis with an indulgent, spacious spa-like feel.
