This beautiful luxury master bathroom was designed for the busy parents of three toddlers in mind. This relaxing space features finely built furniture style vanities in cherry with a rich espresso finish. His and her medicine cabinets were also built. A separate room was provided for the toilet and an armoire was constructed in the same cabinetry. The tub surround was created in the cherry cabinetry for a furniture style look. Countertops and the tub deck were finished in Botticino marble. The floor was finished in a unique stone and glass tile design with a rug pattern. The same 12” x 24” tile was used for the wainscoting and shower. A spacious 5' x 6’ spa shower with a frameless European glass door feature a variety of body sprays, rainheads and a steam unit. Heated towel bars and heated floors are just a few of the great amenities. One of the most spectacular features is a LED high-def TV hidden in the mirror. Under the double drum crystal chandelier is a perfectly sized ottoman by Baker. The result is a luxurious, master bath retreat that reflects the needs of this family. Hall Of Portraits

This Master Bedroom boast elegance and serenity through out. The vaulted ceiling that is over the 5 panel picture window add architectural drama Over the center window panels we see a decorative half round window with curved mullions. This architectural detail is repeated through out the home. The Fireplace mantle is designed using a suite of panels. Though restrained in their proportions they are rich in their architectural style. Furnished in light colors, this room feels light and airy. A midcentury-inspired bathroom featuring a double vanity with rich wood cabinetry, quartz countertop, and vertical green tile backsplash. Oval mirrors and matte black fixtures add a modern touch, while natural light and greenery bring warmth and balance to the design.

Luxurious modern take on a traditional white Italian villa. An entry with a silver domed ceiling, painted moldings in patterns on the walls and mosaic marble flooring create a luxe foyer. Into the formal living room, cool polished Crema Marfil marble tiles contrast with honed carved limestone fireplaces throughout the home, including the outdoor loggia. Ceilings are coffered with white painted crown moldings and beams, or planked, and the dining room has a mirrored ceiling. Bathrooms are white marble tiles and counters, with dark rich wood stains or white painted. The hallway leading into the master bedroom is designed with barrel vaulted ceilings and arched paneled wood stained doors. The master bath and vestibule floor is covered with a carpet of patterned mosaic marbles, and the interior doors to the large walk in master closets are made with leaded glass to let in the light. The master bedroom has dark walnut planked flooring, and a white painted fireplace surround with a white marble hearth. The kitchen features white marbles and white ceramic tile backsplash, white painted cabinetry and a dark stained island with carved molding legs. Next to the kitchen, the bar in the family room has terra cotta colored marble on the backsplash and counter over dark walnut cabinets. It’s no surprise these Hanover clients reached out to Cathy and Ed of Renovisions for design and build services as they wanted a local professional bath specialist to turn their plain builder-grade bath into a luxurious handicapped accessible master bath. Renovisions had safety and universal design in mind while creating this customized two-person super shower and well-appointed master bath so their clients could escape to a special place to relax and energize their senses while also helping to conserve time and water as it is used simultaneously by them. This completely water proofed spacious 4’x8’ walk-in curb-less shower with lineal drain system and larger format porcelain tiles was a must have for our senior client –with larger tiles there are less grout lines, easier to clean and easier to maneuver using a walker to enter and exit the master bath. Renovisions collaborated with their clients to design a spa-like bath with several amenities and added conveniences with safety considerations. The bench seat that spans the width of the wall was a great addition to the shower. It’s a comfortable place to sit down and stretch out and also to keep warm as electric mesh warming materials were used along with a programmable thermostat to keep these homeowners toasty and cozy! Careful attention to all of the details in this master suite created a peaceful and elegant environment that, simply put, feels divine. Adding details such as the warming towel rack, mosaic tiled shower niche, shiny polished chrome decorative safety grab bars that also serve as towel racks and a towel rack inside the shower area added a measure of style. A stately framed mirror over the pedestal sink matches the warm white painted finish of the linen storage cabinetry that provides functionality and good looks to this space. Pull-down safety grab bars on either side of the comfort height high-efficiency toilet was essential to keep safety as a top priority. Water, water everywhere for this well deserving couple – multiple shower heads enhances the bathing experience for our client with mobility issues as 54 soft sprays from each wall jet provide a soothing and cleansing effect – a great choice because they do not require gripping and manipulating handles yet provide a sleek look with easy cleaning. The thermostatic valve maintains desired water temperature and volume controls allows the bather to utilize the adjustable hand-held shower on a slide-bar- an ideal fixture to shower and spray down shower area when done. A beautiful, frameless clear glass enclosure maintains a clean, open look without taking away from the stunning and richly grained marble-look tiles and decorative elements inside the shower. In addition to its therapeutic value, this shower is truly a design focal point of the master bath with striking tile work, beautiful chrome fixtures including several safety grab bars adding aesthetic value as well as safety benefits.

Removed a large unused corner tub to add a double custom vanity as well as a huge shower. This change opened up access to the window, brought in more light and created a serene space for my clients.

When it’s time to update the master bath, don’t settle for anything less than WOW. From the crushed glass accent tile to the custom radius glass shower enclosure, this bath is a much deserved luxury for every-day use. Removal of an existing steam shower and oversized tub allowed for a more open and spacious design incorporating optimal water views. The richness of the dark cabinetry contrasts with the lightly textured tile. Custom designed front lift storage cabinet allows easy access to grooming supplies. When the homeowners first purchased the 1925 house, it was compartmentalized, outdated, and completely unfunctional for their growing family. Casework designed the owner's previous kitchen and family room and was brought in to lead up the creative direction for the project. Casework teamed up with architect Paul Crowther and brother sister team Ainslie Davis on the addition and remodel of the Colonial. The existing kitchen and powder bath were demoed and walls expanded to create a new footprint for the home. This created a much larger, more open kitchen and breakfast nook with mudroom, pantry and more private half bath. In the spacious kitchen, a large walnut island perfectly compliments the homes existing oak floors without feeling too heavy. Paired with brass accents, Calcutta Carrera marble countertops, and clean white cabinets and tile, the kitchen feels bright and open - the perfect spot for a glass of wine with friends or dinner with the whole family. There was no official master prior to the renovations. The existing four bedrooms and one separate bathroom became two smaller bedrooms perfectly suited for the client’s two daughters, while the third became the true master complete with walk-in closet and master bath. There are future plans for a second story addition that would transform the current master into a guest suite and build out a master bedroom and bath complete with walk in shower and free standing tub. Overall, a light, neutral palette was incorporated to draw attention to the existing colonial details of the home, like coved ceilings and leaded glass windows, that the homeowners fell in love with. Modern furnishings and art were mixed in to make this space an eclectic haven.

In the bathroom, the natural Arabescato marble floors surround the shower walls as well, making a luxurious statement. The freestanding tub is the perfect size for true comfort. The walnut cabinetry adds a deep richness to the owner’s bath and matches the custom walk-in closet.

Creating these beautiful bathrooms for an Algiers' couple was a delight! Although they knew exactly what they wanted from the start, they were very open to my ideas and recommendations. Porcelain tiles were selected for its durability, warm gray tones for a relaxing feel and chrome fixtures/hardware to add a subtle sparkle.
