Siesta Key Low Country kitchen and living room open to the pool area and waterfront featuring exposed wood beams, dining area, and screened-in porch off the back. This is a very well detailed custom home on a smaller scale, measuring only 3,000 sf under a/c. Every element of the home was designed by some of Sarasota's top architects, landscape architects and interior designers. One of the highlighted features are the true cypress timber beams that span the great room. These are not faux box beams but true timbers. Another awesome design feature is the outdoor living room boasting 20' pitched ceilings and a 37' tall chimney made of true boulders stacked over the course of 1 month.

The goal of this remodel was to add fun and function to this modest 2,500SF home. The kitchen’s flat ceiling was peeled away leaving custom RGB illuminated light monitors. The monitors add a dynamic colored layer of indirect light to the kitchen. Accent lighting triplets illuminate the breakfast table to make centerpieces pop while providing ample lighting for homework and reading the newspaper. The remaining downlights raise the level of general lighting in the kitchen. Lighting controls provide access to individual dimming of the 8 lighting loads in the kitchen as well as scene control for ease of access to the preset levels. In the foreground an LED strip washes the face of the bar front, illuminating the barstools and bringing light down to the human level. Ambient lighting is achieved through indirect lighting on top of the cabinets and task lighting floats down onto the counter and sink from a modern sconce and linear LED undercabinet lighting. Tim & Elissa have a beautiful home in the most desirable Wyomissing neighborhood. Broad sidewalks under stately oaks, with nearby parks makes it a perfect place to raise a growing family. But their 2-bedroom mid-century rancher was becoming a squeeze. They asked Spring Creek Design to come up with a cost-effective solution to their space problem, while also tackling some of the home’s aged infrastructure. Design Criteria: - Increase living space by adding a new 2nd storey Master Suite. - Enhance livability with an open floorplan on the first floor. - Improve the connection to the outdoors. - Update basics systems with new windows, HVAC and insulation. - Update interior with paint & refinished floors.
