Design ideas for a mid-sized traditional front yard brick water fountain landscape in Calgary.

This is the after photo of the finished room. We created more seating with a beautiful neutral sectional sofa. We replaced the dated carpet with new cork floors. We added custom high-end rugs to the room which are hand made. We replaced the dated teal paint with a soft neutral, which makes the overall room more appealing. We also added a tile floor to the wood stove area, which defines it and adds texture, as well as long lasting stability.

BEFORE: This traditional family + dining room needed a facelift before being put up for sale. Orange oak cabinets, seafoam green walls, cherry laminate floors, a built-in bar (not pictured), popcorn ceilings, and large ceramic tiles all screamed of the 90s, which is not what today's buyers are looking for. This is a truly great house, but there's just too much going on in this space. Scroll forward to see how we fixed it.
