Although large and spacious the original kitchen did not meet the client's needs. The appliances were old and inefficient and the cabinets did not reflect the style of the home. The goal was to design the kitchen for more than one cook and include high-end appliances and stylish cabinetry and finishes. The new design allows for food preparation, cooking and storage areas. The professional style refrigerator allows access from both sides of the island. The microwave oven is beside the refrigerator for quick re-heats while the professional oven at the other end cooks food at remarkable speed. The range top becomes the command center. Plenty of space was allocated at the window at the end of the kitchen for a large table and chairs that overlook a beautiful backyard. A wet bar was located at the opposite end just outside the kitchen along with a walk-in pantry for additional storage. The kitchen is now completed in a traditional style with simple, but elegant, white painted cabinetry. White marble counter tops and back splashes are highlighted by elegant pendant lights above the island. Finally, this beautiful room is dramatized by a black coffered ceiling accented by lighting above the crown molding.

Comparing the most recent shots to the new ones, you can see that we relocated the bay window of the original house to the back yard and relocated the front door. We also added new sidelights to the front door. We protected the porch during construction, which was easier to do since we set up the entire construction to prepare for this when we built the porch several years ago.

The sheen on the ceiling is art on its' own! The walls of this early 20th century home are original metal lathe and stucco and needed many troweled and sanded coats of Swedish Putty to smooth out the walls to prepare for primer and custom tinted Holland Lac Brilliant from Fine Paints of Europe. The final look is oh so luxurious!

The main Projects were Kitchen & Master Bathroom remodeling required architectural and engineering plans. During the kitchen remodeling, we definitely upgraded all the plumbing and electrical up to date, as well as new tile flooring. We prepared and made the cabinets requested by the client's preference. As for the master bathroom, we upgraded all the plumbing and electrical up to date and demo the original bathtub, and made a new frame for a walk-in shower with tile walls.

Alisa envisioned a fresh, functional kids' bathroom tailored for young family members. In the vanity space, existing cabinets were revitalized with a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams Gossamer Veil paint, and MSI Surfaces’ Premium Quartz countertops in Calacatta Izaro paired with a rectangle sink and a Delta Kayra single-handle faucet. A framed Klajowp mirror and brushed nickel vanity lighting from Lamps Plus provided the finishing touches to a thoughtfully redesigned space. The newly transformed kids’ bathroom now meets the family's needs, providing functionality and a delightful aesthetic tailored for everyday use.

This 1758 restored farmhouse was modernized with a kitchen that matches the beauty of this historic home located in Brentwood, New Hampshire. This casita was completely renovated from floor to ceiling in preparation of Airbnb short term romantic getaways. The color palette of teal green, blue and white was brought to life with curated antiques that were stripped of their dark stain colors, collected fine linens, fine plaster wall finishes, authentic Turkish rugs, antique and custom light fixtures, original oil paintings and moorish chevron tile and Moroccan pattern choices.

The owners desire a whole-house renovation which would improve the general building fabric and systems, and extend the sense of living out of doors in all seasons. This custom wine cellar was designed and built by Vintage Wine Cellars in 2020. We worked 100% remotely with this client to create a beautiful and functional space in unfinished redwood. This wine cellar's wine racking has many versatile features to store different sizes and styles of wines and wine bottles, such as tiered coved trays for large format wine bottles, high reveal display rows, individual bottle storage, Original Wooden Cases, and custom cabinetry. The unique shape and design of this room required a skilled contractor like Vintage Wine Cellars to design and create a completely custom wine cellar - perfectly fit to the shape and flow of the room. This client's room was actually huge - but he just didn't have the need to fill it completely with wine (maybe one day!) The front and rear walls are both fitted with custom racking, divided by open space and a large marble countertop. This farmhouse style kitchen cabinet installation project in Sterling, MA was designed to create a warmer, more welcoming kitchen with a clean New England farmhouse feel. The original kitchen had an older layout and lacked the charm, storage, and character the homeowners wanted for everyday use. The project began with careful preparation and demolition of the existing kitchen cabinets. Floors and surrounding areas were protected before the older cabinets were removed and the space was opened up for the new installation. The goal was to create a kitchen that felt practical, comfortable, and timeless while incorporating farmhouse-inspired details. As the work progressed, new cabinets were installed to bring a fresh and functional layout to the space. The design focused on simple farmhouse character, clean cabinet lines, warm finishes, and a cozy feel that fits well with a Sterling, MA home. Sampson, our client's adorable pug, would agree that this stylish rooftop garden is the place to be after Rooftopia had the opportunity to give the deck a much needed makeover! Our teams removed an old worn out wooden deck and replaced the flooring with new porcelain tiles on a floating pedestal system for a durable and gorgeous deck surface that not only looks fabulous, it improves drainage, protects the roof membrane from UV exposure, evenly disperses the weight of the garden elements and is modular and very low maintenance. This private rooftop also features a custom made metal pergola and wooden screen to offer shade and artfully frames the view of the incredible city skyline. The pergola also creates a pleasing surround for the primary rooftop seating and lounge area. The outdoor kitchen is made of durable marine grade aluminum cabinets and a custom concrete countertop with a built in bar ledge. The bar ledge features an original metal screen pattern and seating positioned to highlight the stunning view and keep the conversation flowing. The centrally located dining area makes it easy to entertain a crowd, host out of town guests before a concert or simply prepare a refreshing drink after work. Working with the scale of the rooftop we added large planter boxes & greenery situated to soften the hard lines of the building, add a layer of privacy and frame the views of the skyline. A few containers are placed near the entrance and in the seating area to offer pops of colorful seasonal flowers. An irrigation system is a key part of the garden that operates automatically to water plants on a daily timer so our clients can spend their time relaxing and the plants stay healthy. Rooftopia also integrated LED lighting and patio string lights to accent and illuminate these beautiful garden elements.

The existing kitchen was the original that was placed when the house was build up many years ago, so it was the time to refresh the look and bring in a new kitchen. The design constrains were to keep the new design layout within the current space. The cooking and preparation area was moved to the exterior wall, and the window was pushed a bit to the side to accommodate that. Tall cabinets where placed on the other wall and worked nicely with the slope of the ceiling. The high gloss lacquer door style gave the new kitchen a nice fresh look. A custom bar was designed my McCabe Design & Interiors to fit the homeowner's love of gathering with friends and entertaining whilst enjoying great conversation, sports tv, or playing pool. The original space was reconfigured to allow for this large and elegant bar. Beside it, and easily accessible for the homeowner bartender is a walk-in wine cellar. Custom millwork was designed and built to exact specifications including a routered custom design on the curved bar. A two-tiered bar was created to allow preparation on the lower level. Across from the bar, is a sitting area and an electric fireplace. Three tv's ensure maximum sports coverage. Lighting accents include slims, led puck, and rope lighting under the bar. A sonas and remotely controlled lighting finish this entertaining haven.

This was a low budget job where a few of the lower cabinets were converted to drawers. The pantry was converted for 4 doors to 6 giant drawers. This kitchen was originally clear oak that was prepared and painted to a white.
