Located in Phoenix, Arizona’s idyllic Arcadia neighborhood, the home gives a nod to the area’s citrus orchard history. Echoing the past while embracing current millennial design expectations, this just-complete speculative family home hosts four bedrooms, an office, open living with a separate “dirty kitchen”, and the Stone Bar. Positioned in the Northwestern portion of the site, the Stone Bar provides entertainment for the interior and exterior spaces. With retracting sliding glass doors and windows above the bar, the space opens up to provide a multipurpose playspace for kids and adults alike. Nearly as eyecatching as the Camelback Mountain view is the stunning use of exposed beams, stone, and mill scale steel in this grass roots exploration of farmhouse architecture. White painted siding, white interior walls, and warm wood floors communicate a harmonious embrace in this soothing, family-friendly abode. Garage finished with corrugated steel on the walls and painted osb on the ceiling. We then finished off the bar area with reclaimed local barn wood and made a custom galvanized basin light fixture. The refrigerator was clad in galvanized steel as well.

Custom designed 14' x 16' shed. Double 3/4" T&G flooring, on 16" o.c. floor joists. T1-11 siding, Hardie Board covers the hip. Custom made cedar shutters on window. Sherwin Williams paint. Interior walls and ceiling insulated and finished with storage above rafters. Electrical outlets and exterior lighting.

Beautiful basement remodel on the east side of Providence. Water mitigation was what sparked this dream. weak spots in the exterior foundation were sealed. Then we began by "facing" the exposed foundation with a sealant and concrete. A waterproof membrane was installed and capped with tongue in groove OSB, then finally finished with a water resistant laminate floor. Walls were framed to separate living area from storage. Sliding barn style doors add a nice finish while being very functional, allowing airflow and heat into the space. Now the teenagers of the house have a perfect hangout!
