The goal for this master suite was to replace a dated, heavy layout with a sense of "Warm Minimalism." We wanted to trade visual clutter for intentional textures. By pairing the natural grain of White Oak with the crisp, architectural lines of Matte Black fixtures, we created a space that feels grounded, airy, and deeply restorative. A master bath is a high-stakes environment where every inch counts. We took absolute ownership of the "inch-by-inch" planning required to expand the shower and incorporate a freestanding soaking tub without making the room feel crowded. Our Guided Process ensured the client felt confident in the bold choice of vertical stack tile—a design-forward move that draws the eye upward and adds a custom, boutique-hotel feel to the space. This is a "Host’s Private Oasis." While the rest of the home is ready for guests, this bathroom is a master-grade sanctuary for the homeowners. The elite craftsmanship is visible in the precision of the tile alignments and the seamless integration of the natural wood elements, providing a feeling of pride and daily joy.

Rather than starting with an outcome in mind, this 1,400 square foot residence began from a polemic place - exploring shared conviction regarding the concentrated power of living with a smaller footprint. From the gabled silhouette to passive ventilation, the home captures the nostalgia for the past with the sustainable practices of the future. While the exterior materials contrast a calm, minimal palette with the sleek lines of the gabled silhouette, the interior spaces embody a playful, artistic spirit. From the hand painted De Gournay wallpaper in the master bath to the rugged texture of the over-grouted limestone and Portuguese cobblestones, the home is an experience that encapsulates the unexpected and the timeless.

Inspiration for a mediterranean bedroom remodel in Austin

Our friend Jenna from Jenna Sue Design came to us in early January 2021, looking to see if we could help bring her closet makeover to life. She was looking to use IKEA PAX doors as a starting point, and built around it. Additional features she had in mind were custom boxes above the PAX units, using one unit to holder drawers and custom sized doors with mirrors, and crafting a vanity desk in-between two units on the other side of the wall. We worked closely with Jenna and sponsored all of the custom door and panel work for this project, which were made from our DIY Paint Grade Shaker MDF. Jenna painted everything we provided, added custom trim to the inside of the shaker rails from Ekena Millwork, and built custom boxes to create a floor to ceiling look. The final outcome is an incredible example of what an idea can turn into through a lot of hard work and dedication. This project had a lot of ups and downs for Jenna, but we are thrilled with the outcome, and her and her husband Lucas deserve all the positive feedback they've received!

This master bathroom is a great example of expert space planning. By moving the entry to the center, we had just enough room to have a double vanity on one side and a makeup vanity on the left. The bath tub is a lovely focal point in the large wet area. The dark floor and accent walls create drama, depth and a rich mood. We couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome.

A young couple makes this historic Montclair home there new dream home with plans to completely transform the kitchen foot print. They invited Signature Designs into help that new kitchen vision come to life. We of course removed the wall that was confining the kitchen space but we also decided to take out the kitchen door and relocate the kitchen window. By closing off the old kitchen window we were able to utilize that space for the cooktop and built in oven. This client wanted something playful for the tile so we decided upon this custom marble backsplash cut into half circles and multiple pastels. The backsplash ties the upper and lower cabinetry together perfectly. Even though there is a lot going on in this space the outcome is just spectacular. Taking place in Coto de Caza, CA, this complete kitchen remodel underwent quite the transformation to achieve an “organic modern” look. You may see that we installed porcelain countertops as well as glazed ceramic wall tile for a clean and fresh feel. All cabinets were custom made by our crew and include a fresh coat of white paint and black hardware. You will also notice the newly fabricated and stained floating shelves and island.
