This 1970's home had a complete makeover! The goal of the project was to 1) open up the main floor living and gathering spaces and 2) create a more beautiful and functional kitchen. We took out the dividing wall between the front living room and the kitchen and dining room to create one large gathering space, perfect for a young family and for entertaining friends! Onto the exciting part - the kitchen! The existing kitchen was U-Shaped with not much room to have more than 1 person working at a time. We kept the appliances in the same locations, but really expanded the amount of workspace and cabinet storage by taking out the peninsula and adding a large island. The cabinetry, from Holiday Kitchens, is a blue-gray color on the lowers and classic white on the uppers. The countertops are walnut butcherblock on the perimeter and a marble looking quartz on the island. The backsplash, one of our favorites, is a diamond shaped mosaic in a rhombus pattern, which adds just the right amount of texture without overpowering all the gorgeous details of the cabinets and countertops. The hardware is a champagne bronze - one thing we love to do is mix and match our metals! The faucet is from Kohler and is in Matte Black, the sink is from Blanco and is white. The flooring is a luxury vinyl plank with a warm wood tone - which helps bring all the elements of the kitchen together we think! Overall - this is one of our favorite kitchens to date - so many beautiful details on their own, but put together create this gorgeous kitchen!

This room felt crowded with an armoire that overpowered the space. Our dresser, lounge chair, round mirror, lamp, lounge chair, and custom window treatments completed the look!

Each feature is designed with clean, contemporary details and materials which are timeless. This high-end landscape is an expansive space, so breaking up the patio with planting creates separate functional, multi-purpose spaces. Planting also added life to each space while not overpowering it with colour, a green and white colour palette add elegance.

This kitchen is light and neutral, but has a little addition of color with our Betularie granite! It is the perfect simple addition without overpowering the kitchen.

Jack Korlann. Solid Apollo LED. In this beautiful under cabinet lighting installation, our customer wanted to bring subtle lighting to his recently renovated kitchen area. Here Warm White High Brightness LED Strip Light was carefully placed under each cabinet area. In each of the pictures, you can see how this subtle amount of light adds another element without overpowering the carefully chosen colors and tones from the rest of the elements in the kitchen. The 5-Zone wireless remote control dimmer was used and as several of the pictures show, the lights can be brought down to 10% of their brightness, for incredibly gentle mood lighting, and even works great as a night light. To connect the LED Strip Lights together, matching Snap&Lite Interconnectors and Power Adapters were used, and the power supply, receiver and other accessories were carefully tucked away in the cabinets.

This Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath client's home serves as a beautiful example getting back to warmer neutral tones of incorporates deep chocolate tones, warm browns and taupe to create a harmonious feeling as you walk through each space. Our client has tastefully placed accent foliage and other decor throughout the home that has brought the outdoors into each room. Stoneunlimited Kitchen and Bath Remodeling had the opportunity to help this customer achieve their dream of a fully remodeled main floor which included: kitchen, guest bathroom, dining room, kitchenette, pantry, living room and office. Extensive carpentry work was performed in what used to be a dinning and sitting room on the main level. A large wall was removed, and a new wall was created with a door entry and a recessed beverage station was installed with two tone upper and lower cabinets that house a small fridge. The upper cabinets with lighting were installed inside the glass upper cabinetry to add layered lighting to the space. Three wood beams were installed in the ceiling and a new kitchenette/pantry area was created behind the newly constructed wall. The kitchenette/pantry area includes a tall storage area as well as upper and lower cabinetry with a sink and small fridge. The kitchenette pantry is a perfect place to house countertop mixers, crock pots, air fryers or other small appliances that are accessible for immediate use. The main kitchen tops remain free of small appliance clutter and the countertops become an expansive workspace. The existing kitchen had a peninsula that made the area feel confined, prior to the kitchen remodel portion of the project. The peninsula was removed, and the fridge was relocated to the opposite wall, across the room to create a more open feel. Although a working island was installed, the flow through the kitchen feels more open and fluid than it did previously. The work island houses the microwave as well as additional storage. Spice and utensil pull outs to the left and right side of the range keep prepping utensils and seasonings conveniently tucked away. Other projects that were completed included in the home included new cabinetry and floating shelves that were installed in the living area. The two-tone aesthetic of the cabinetry is consistent with the other areas of the home and merge beautifully with the natural stacked stone feature in the fireplace wall. Darker lower cabinets anchor the room while lighter warmer upper tones provide a lighter feel without overpowering the space. The guest bathroom off of the living area was also remodeled. Taupe tones were introduced with the natural warm tones of newly installed cabinetry and countertops to maximize the storage space. 6 1/2 x 40" nut brown plank tile was installed and can be seen throughout the expanse of the first floor, giving the appearance of wood but are porcelain which are highly durable and easy to maintain. The homeowner also opted to have their main stairwell redone which included removing existing carpet, installation of stair treads and hardwood for the steps and landing area which included sanding and staining. Overall, the interior remodel of the main floor of this client's home was extensive and the impact of the changes that were made are incredible! The choices that were made with our client make this remodel not only specialized and customized to their everyday needs but a beautiful representation of how a dream home remodel can be achieved and accomplished. This open concept facilitates the flow while entertaining quests and allows for uninterrupted transition of events throughout the evening. The ceiling coves cleverly hide linear a/c diffusers, hence you will not see them throughout the house. And the LED linear lighting and floating ceilings delineate different areas of the space. Large four-panel sliding glass doors on two walls open up this living and entertaining space to the outdoor living room, wrap around infinity lap pool, pool deck, and outside entertaining space. The large Mahogany sliding door panels open up the interior and outdoor spaces to one another and facilitate smooth/natural flow of the entertaining guests inside and out. Throughout the main living space, in lieu of traditional accessories, for this home, we opted to incorporate client’s unique memorabilia. They personalize the home and provide a unique approach to accessorizing. From helmets, trophies, custom sculptures, and racing car models, this home truly reflects the connection between owner’s life in the fast lane and the serenity of an escape. Each time you visit the home, the subtle architectural details continuously attract. Quite possibly, it’s due to the tone-on-tone color scheme, simple-looking but complicated and engineered design, floating illuminated ceilings that give space a lot of interest without overpowering the rooms. It creates a background that changes throughout the day and creates a backdrop for Client’s possessions. As you move through this open floor plan home, large full height windows and doors and uninterrupted ceilings extend from inside to the outside and while they identify the various spaces they give you the illusion of openness between the interior and exterior world. At 19 Irving Avenue, the pool reads less like an afterthought and more like a quiet declaration of Joseph Eichler’s design philosophy. From the moment you step into the backyard, it becomes clear that this isn’t a traditional rectangular basin—it’s a geometric composition, shaped in a polygonal form that mirrors the home’s angular, forward-thinking architecture. 5 The lines of the pool echo the home’s V-shaped layout and parallelogram motifs, creating a visual rhythm that feels intentional from every vantage point. Rather than being set apart, the pool is pulled into the architecture itself—surrounded by walls of glass and adjacent living spaces that dissolve the boundary between inside and out. Reflections of sky, structure, and surrounding greenery constantly shift across its surface, making it feel alive within the composition. There’s a certain restraint to it, too. It doesn’t try to overpower the setting or compete with the architecture. Instead, it acts as a calm, sculptural centerpiece, anchoring the outdoor terrace while reinforcing the home’s modernist language. It’s easy to imagine Eichler himself using this space not just for leisure, but as part of a larger experiment—testing how geometry, light, and water could come together to shape a new way of living. In that sense, the pool isn’t just a feature—it’s part of the origin story. A subtle but powerful expression of the indoor-outdoor lifestyle that would go on to define Eichler communities across California.

This white and gray kitchen remodel offers much more storage and counter space than the old kitchen, and even without the lights on, its so much brighter. The raised panel door style and crown molding compliment the traditional feel of the home, while the gray walls and glass subway tile, along with the white cabinets give a truly updated feel. Bold movement in the dark granite counters provide a contrast against the white cabinetry, and tie into the grays, and the wood tone of the floor. A simple mosaic tile picture frame over the cooktop offers extra visual interest, without overpowering the glass subway backsplash. Brushed nickel hardware and finishes also update the space. Levels of lighting include recessed fixtures, pendants over the island, undercabinet LED, and LED inside the glass front cabinets for display. The original island was only about 3' long, so it has been extended, and filled with extra storage, a microwave drawer, and open shelving for cookbooks. Bun feet were added to the toe kick space on the island, and carried over to the cooktop and sink bases. An undermount siligranit sink with accessories creates a desirable workspace. With cabinets extending to the ceiling and an edited layout, there was enough storage to forego an old pantry closet, which became a bar area in the short hall to the dining room.

The kitchen’s sink area captures a playful yet refined take on contemporary design. Deep navy cabinetry is complemented by slim brass handles, creating a rich, elegant backdrop. The bold geometric tiled splashback introduces a lively graphic texture, drawing attention without overpowering the space. Above the sink, an open shelf breaks the solid run of cabinetry and offers space for personal curation—plants, ceramics, books, and kitchen essentials are styled in a relaxed, artful arrangement. The matte black tap with a brass accent acts as a sculptural focal point, while living greenery adds softness and life to the ensemble.

Sleek bright white custom cabinets replace the overpowering light wood. A rich gray island drenches the space in contrast, topped with a London Gray quartz countertop while a deep overhang offers plenty seating and helps to highlight the length of the newly remodeled kitchen.

All the wall cabinets reach almost to the ceiling and are accented with a slim ¾” recessed negative detail to add visual interest while keeping them from overpowering the room.
