To make better use of space for a large family, and entertaining, we took out a peninsula and added a huge island. The dark stain on the island and banquette help pull together the light maple on the existing perimeter cabinets and the knotty pine paneling in this original Craftsman home.

Riverfront home. We wanted to preserve, the beautiful, original, knotty pine paneling. The client has a very modern style. We selected cabinet doors with straighter lines, glass tile back splashes, and a custom, glass bar top. The back of the bar, has a free form piece of copper which is back lit. The copper color of the artwork, the wood tone of the knotty pine paneling, and the paprika & metallic gold color in the accent tiles tied all of those natural elements together. We used a knotty pine cabinet, stained green. This complimented the natural setting, of this home, and complimented the paneling in the kitchen.

Built out farm house style addition built Wayne Township, IL. Knotty pine accents, Knotty pine ceiling, Shiplap fireplace Grey Couches, Grey 12'' by 24'' flooring, Accent rug New roof, New windows, New electrical, New patio door installation.
