The homeowners of this Cape Cod residential project wanted to build a multi-generational home that could serve the needs of their family as well as their parents’ aging-in-place considerations.
Products from the Marvin Modern and Ultimate collections paired aesthetics with the home’s commitment to accessibility, adaptability, and energy efficiency.

We picked this amazing crusted stone wallpaper and used the design to make diamonds. At each point we have a crystal stud. We had so much fun making this a moody and stylish room!

Interior and Exterior Renovation
We are very excited about the conversion of this Vancouver Special in East Van’s Renfrew-Collingwood area, zoned RS-1, into a contemporary multigenerational home. It will incorporate two generations immediately, with separate suites for the home owners and their parents, and will be flexible enough to accommodate the next generation as well, when the owners have children of their own. During the design process we addressed the needs of each group and took special care that each suite was designed with lots of light, high ceilings, and large rooms.

This is my Parents 2nd Custom House (see Haley #1 for their first house I designed). I was the Architect with my mother the Interior Designer and my Father the Builder
This is a special (2nd house) project designed to house us (the kids and my sister's family) in the detached bungalows that are connected via breezeway to the main house. It is a true resort house with a great deal of love and craftsmanship!

By reworking the interior structure of this pre-war home in the Glebe, we are able to provide direct connection between the new kitchen and the dining room. This allows parents to cook and keep an eye on the children while they complete their homework or for the hosts to stay connected with their dinner guests.

The goal of this extensive remodel was to bring a home that was distinctly 80s into the present. Our clients were an active family with three rambunctious, growing boys. Durability and practicality were high priorities. The homeowners wanted to create a space where both adults and children were at home, and that included feminine touches for Mom. We knew they’d need storage and space to play, so we transformed the formal dining room into a dedicated playroom with plenty of built-ins for toys, puzzles, books, and board games. We took two impractical spaces and removed the center wall, creating a bunk room that feels fort-like and imaginative. For the parents, we created a haven in their primary suite with a proper sitting area surrounding a fireplace as well as a shower/bath wet room. New front doors and window treatments were installed to enhance the natural light and complement the much-improved aesthetic.

We opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, creating an open concept space for the client and their family. Now there is a space for doing homework while the parents are cooking.

Host your entire extended family in the 8 spacious bedrooms. This setup is perfect for you, your parents, siblings, children, and all of the in-laws to gather.

A typical older home in the Bay Area in need of a refreshment, the clients turned to Freeman Design Group to bring new life to this house. In addition, the family wanted to create a multi-generational structure for their parents by adding an ADU. We created a welcoming street scape facade and reorgainzed and simplified the interior layout to have strong connections to the new large covered patio in the rear yard. Warm, airy, sun filled and modern fully describes this house.

Before purchasing their early 20th-century Prairie-style home, perfect in so many ways for their growing family, the parents asked LiLu whether its imperfections could be remedied. Specifically, they were sad to leave a kid-focused happy home full of color, pattern, texture, and durability thanks to LiLu. Could the new house, with lots of woodwork, be made brighter and lighter? Of course. In the living areas, LiLu selected a high-gloss turquoise paint that reflects light for selected cabinets and the fireplace surround; the color complements original handmade blue-green tile in the home. Graphic floral and abstract prints, and furnishings and accessories in lively shades of pink, were layered throughout to create a bright, playful aesthetic. Elsewhere, staircase spindles were painted turquoise to bring out their arts-and-craft design and heighten the abstract wallpaper and striped runner. Wallpaper featuring 60s-era superheroes, metallic butterflies, cartoon bears, and flamingos enliven other rooms of the house. In the kitchen, an orange island adds zest to cream-colored cabinets and brick backsplash. The family’s new home is now their happy home.

This thoughtfully designed nursery blends timeless elegance with playful charm, creating a warm and nurturing space for both parents and child. Designed by Crespo Design Group, the room features a calming palette of soft sage green, warm neutrals, and natural wood tones that create a serene atmosphere while allowing whimsical details to shine. Every element was carefully selected to provide comfort, functionality, and enduring style that will grow with the family.
A custom upholstered daybed offers the perfect place for reading, relaxing, or overnight guests, while the natural wood crib, cozy nursery chair, and plush ottoman create a comfortable setting for everyday moments. Tailored floor-to-ceiling drapery, luxurious textiles, and a soft patterned area rug add warmth and texture, while playful artwork and curated accessories introduce personality without compromising the room's sophisticated design. The balance of refined furnishings and child-friendly details creates a nursery that is both beautiful and practical.
Designed with longevity in mind, this luxury nursery combines custom furnishings, premium materials, and timeless design principles to create a space that can easily evolve as the child grows. Every detail reflects Crespo Design Group's commitment to creating interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful.
As a premier luxury interior design firm in Tampa, Florida, Crespo Design Group specializes in designing custom nurseries, children's bedrooms, and luxury family homes throughout Florida, the United States, and the Bahamas. Every project is tailored to each family's lifestyle, resulting in thoughtfully designed interiors that combine exceptional craftsmanship, comfort, and timeless elegance.

This modern farmhouse is a complete custom renovation to transform an existing rural Duncan house into a home that was suitable for our clients’ growing family and lifestyle. The original farmhouse was too small and dark. The layout for this house was also ineffective for a family with parents who work from home.
The new design was carefully done to meet the clients’ needs. As a result, the layout of the home was completely flipped. The kitchen was switched to the opposite corner of the house from its original location. In addition, Made to Last constructed multiple additions to increase the size.
An important feature to the design was to capture the surrounding views of the Cowichan Valley countryside with strategically placed windows.

“Tranquil Grandeur” captures the essence of a home that marries refined tradition with quiet luxury, thoughtfully designed to accommodate three generations living under one roof. Central to this vision are the custom window treatments, crafted to enhance each space with subtle sophistication—softly diffusing light, adding gentle movement, and accentuating architectural details without overwhelming them. Layered textures, tailored construction, and nuanced trims bring depth and elegance, while comfortable furnishings ensure the home meets the needs of a busy family with grandparents, parents, and three young children. The result is a residence where timeless craftsmanship, bespoke finishes, and understated elegance create spaces that are both luxurious and inviting for every member of the family.
