940sf interior and exterior remodel of the rear unit of a duplex. By reorganizing on-site parking and re-positioning openings a greater sense of privacy was created for both units. After much thought I opted to relocate the dogwood paintings to the area behind the sofa to bring more color into the heart of the space. Texture was introduced where the paintings once hung by hanging plates in the shape of magnolia flowers.

This transitional great room pairs a neutral monochromatic palette with pops of red. Taupe upholstery and dark wood furnishings add interest to the open space.

When tasked with restoring the master bathroom of this 1909 row house Andrea Mason and the team at Perceptions set out to transform the utilitarian space into a romantic retreat. Keeping the original footprint we replaced the outdated tile with white marble, framed the shower in glass, added built-it storage, a chandelier, and retreated the original claw-foot tub with a navy blue exterior. The end result, a relaxing retreat with modern amenities and a classic romantic feel.
