This clean and classic Northern Westchester kitchen features a mix of colors and finishes. The perimeter of the kitchen including the desk area is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Nordic White with satin chrome hardware. The island features Benjamin Moore’s Blue Toile with satin brass hardware. The focal point of the space is the Cornu Fe range and custom hood in satin black with brass and chrome trim. Crisp white subway tile covers the backwall behind the cooking area and all the way up the sink wall to the ceiling. In place of wall cabinets, the client opted for thick white open shelves on either side of the window above the sink to keep the space more open and airier. Countertops are a mix of Neolith’s Estatuario on the island and Ash Grey marble on the perimeter. Hanging above the island are Circa Lighting’s the “Hicks Large Pendants” by designer Thomas O’Brien; above the dining table is Tom Dixon’s “Fat Pendant”. Just off of the kitchen is a wet bar conveniently located next to the living area, perfect for entertaining guests. They opted for a contemporary look in the space. The cabinetry is Yosemite Bronzato laminate in a high gloss finish coupled with open glass shelves and a mirrored backsplash. We completely transformed the original small Kitchen into a space twice as large. The homeowner's love to cook and this new Kitchen is designed with both beauty and high function in mind with plenty of well designed storage, generous amount of counterspace and unique design features such as the quartersawn white oak table end of the island which intersects the beautiful white macabus quartzite waterfall edge. The two tone perimeter cabinets bring subtle interest to the space.

This beautiful yet highly functional space was remodeled for a busy, active family. Flush ceiling beams joined two rooms, and the back wall was extended out six feet to create a new, open layout with areas for cooking, dining, and entertaining. The homeowner is a decorator with a vision for the new kitchen that leverages low-maintenance materials with modern, clean lines. Durable Quartz countertops and full-height slab backsplash sit atop white overlay cabinets around the perimeter, with angled shaker doors and matte brass hardware adding polish. There is a functional “working” island for cooking, storage, and an integrated microwave, as well as a second waterfall-edge island delineated for seating. A soft slate black was chosen for the bases of both islands to ground the center of the space and set them apart from the perimeter. The custom stainless-steel hood features “Cartier” screws detailing matte brass accents and anchors the Wolf 48” dual fuel range. A new window, framed by glass display cabinets, adds brightness along the rear wall, with dark herringbone floors creating a solid presence throughout the space.

With Craftsman details throughout the rest of the home, our clients wanted their new kitchen to have transitional elements such as Shaker style doors, a farmhouse sink, warm wood tones, and other timeless features such as a custom hood and natural stone counters. The beautiful Glorious White marble counters have a soft honed finish and the stunning marble backsplash ties everything together to complete the look. The two-toned cabinets pair a rich stained cherry island with soft white perimeter cabinets. Brushed brass accents on the appliances pulls, cabinet hardware, lights and plumbing fixtures add another layer of sophistication. An induction range, dishwasher drawers, undercounter microwave, and four-door smart refrigerator amp up the functionality of this cook’s kitchen.

This stunning black and white kitchen with its punch of yellow was designed for a couple who love to cook and maintain a kosher kitchen. Chalet knobs and pulls. Cambria Whitecliff Quartz was installed on the countertops with two Franke Fireclay Undermount sinks. Delta Brizo Venuto in Black faucets were installed. Jenn Aire 42" French door panel refrigerator, G.E. 36" Induction Cooktop and Downdraft, American Range 30" Yellow Double Ovens, Bosch dishwashers and Wolf 30" Warming drawer.

A talented interior designer was ready for a complete redo of her 1980s style kitchen in Chappaqua. Although very spacious, she was looking for better storage and flow in the kitchen, so a smaller island with greater clearances were desired. Beaux arts architecture of Blairsden was inspiration for kitchen. Homeowner wanted clean airy look while repurposing cold commercial cooking space to an aesthetically pleasing functional kitchen for family and friends or for a catering staff during larger gatherings. Aside from the hand made LaCornue range, no appliances were to be be in the kitchen so as not to interfere with the aesthetic. Instead, the appliances were moved to an adjacent space and celebrated as their own aesthetic with complimentary stainless steel cabinetry and tiled walls. The color pallet of the kitchen was intentionally subtle with tones of beige white and grey. Light was reintroduced into the space by rebuilding the east and north windows. Traffic pattern was improved by moving range from south wall to north wall. Custom stainless structural window, with stainless steel screen and natural brass harlequin grill encapsulated in insulated frosted glass, was engineered to support hood and creates a stunning backdrop for the already gorgeous range. All hardware in kitchen is unlacquered natural brass intentionally selected so as to develop its own patina as it oxides over time to give a true historic quality. Every detail of this cool gray transitional kitchen design in Yardley, PA combines to create a stunning space, packed with stylish and practical features. The Dura Supreme stacked Avery style kitchen cabinets are painted zinc with a shadow glaze to add depth to the finish. The upper cabinets have a mullion style door, and the island is in a contrasting dark finish with glass front cabinets on one side. This is beautifully accented by Top Knobs bar pulls and a Dekton by Cosentino Entzo countertop with 2" mitered edge and a double waterfall countertop on the island. The cabinetry includes ample storage accessories, such as a tray divider, spice drawer, roll outs, and pull out base cabinet. The backsplash is random size mosaic Alabastro tile with Schluter strips to cap the edges. A Blanco Precis Siligranit sink combines with a Brizo Smart Touch on the perimeter of the kitchen. The appliances include Wolf ovens and a Sub Zero refrigerator, as well as a Wolf range in the island, perfect for cooking while talking to guests or keeping an eye on the kids. Power outlets in the island and angled power strips under the wall cabinets are ideal for plugging in small appliances or charging electronics. This open plan kitchen design is a functional, efficient space, as well as a style icon in the center of this home.

Glass mullion doors to the right of the windows and smokey mirror on the refrigerator panels help to add the illusion of a more open space. We left the room as an open space to allow more room to entertain, eat, and cook. The ceramic tile mimics wood planking perfectly but makes cleaning and maintenance easier. The tall hearth makes for a more spacious cooking area on a smaller wall. Cabinet and top details: The perimeter tops are Silestone Haze, the island top is Danby marble at 2 1/2" thick. The perimeter cabinets are frameless with applied molding and painted white, the island is maple with a denim stain. The ceiling height is 8'. all the lighting, furniture, and wall paint colors and wallpaper were handled by the home owner - we have no information on file.
