One of our favorite clients requested our services once again, this time to update their outdated full bath. The main goal, aside from keeping the existing tub and surround in place, was to replace the tired vanity, small medicine cabinet, countertop, sink, flooring, light fixture, shower valve and trims with products that are more on trend. The desire was to create a wow factor and display their personal style. Designing a bath with transitional finishes and a clean aesthetic was top of mind when we selected a white painted inset-style vanity, contrasting marble-look quartz countertop in suede finish and classic 3” x 6” white subway wall tiles. Tying together different patterns and incorporating 8” x 8” black and white deco floor tiles provides an interesting and refreshing industrial look that is an expression of our client’s individuality and style. Adding to this industrial style feature was the double light fixture with clear seeded glass mounted over the new framed recessed medicine cabinet with matching painted finish. Also, a priority in the remodeling process was to provide proper ventilation to not only keep air moving, but to ensure moisture is cleared from the room while showering. The Interior Design of this Highland Square High-rise was inspired by the client's existing Asian motif print fabric with aubergine background. A dramatic setting was created for the large expansive space with the use of aubergine for the walls. Furniture placement takes advantage of the expansive views from the 12th floor. Custom upholstery in green corduroy and aubergine chenille. Accent pillows in silk plaid and print fabrics. Playful wool felt shag rug expresses the client's joyful nature. A beautiful location is worthy of a beautiful bath. With a water and moutain view just beyond, it was decided that the soaking tub was to be placed under the window for maximum enjoyment of the water/mountain view by day and the twinkle of city lights by night. However, the view is equally captured by the shower at the opposite end of the room. The homeowners requested two vanity sinks, linen storage, a make-up vanity and clutter free counters. All of this was achieved and more! The linen tower stores a compliment of towels and toiletries while housing a concealed outlet for charging personal grooming appliances (hence the clutter free counters!). The floating shelves on either end of the tub do dual duty of providing a landing space for wine glasses as well as offering the homeowners a place for decorative self expression. One feature not captured in the photos is the fact that the beatiful tumbled beach glass vertical deco tiles in the shower are reflected in each mirror and from the moment you first step into the room. The double-sided, raw steel view-through fireplace divides the Entry and Living Areas. The pass-through Entry opens from front to back terraces and features one of the owner's prized Peter Lik art pieces.

We used a unique palate of materials to compose this one of a kind personal resort for our clients. They wanted a contemporary home that utilized regional materials and expressed the Southwest, but in a fresh new way. There is a surprise around every corner in this home as it meanders across the entire site. We collaborated with Joyce Crawford, and Charles Glover for interiors, and Wendy LeSeuer for Landscape design.

We designed the bedroom as a space where personality could shine through. The bright pops of color and fun details like the loft allow the room to be a form of expression.
