Inspiration for an eclectic medium tone wood floor and brown floor dining room remodel in New York with multicolored walls

This client had already purchased his sofa and had been given some previously loved end tables when we were enlisted to add some personality to his first apartment. Given a modest budget and a few hours time we were able to add punches of color, texture and warmth to his space with purchases found at local shops in the area. We also recommended a birch tree print for the wall over the sofa.

Bellweather's managing partner, William Giesey, has over 20 years of experience providing construction management and design services for high-quality home renovations in Philadelphia and its Main Line suburbs. Will is a BPI-certified building analyst, NARI-certified kitchen and bath remodeler, and active member of his local NARI chapter. He is the acting chairman of a local historical commission and has participated in award-winning restoration and historic preservation projects. His work has been showcased on home tours and featured in magazines.

As seen in this photo, the front to back view offers homeowners and guests alike a direct view and access to the deck off the back of the house. In addition to holding access to the garage, this space holds two closets. One, the homeowners are using as a coat closest and the other, a pantry closet. You also see a custom built in unit with a bench and storage. There is also access to a powder room, a bathroom that was relocated from middle of the 1st floor layout. Relocating the bathroom allowed us to open up the floor plan, offering a view directly into and out of the playroom and dining room.
