What could be better than enjoying a beautiful night in this stunning outdoor living space? It features a stone fireplace, kitchen, several cozy seating areas with a fireplace, and a swim spa with adjacent fire pit. You'll never leave home with a backyard like this. The particular swim spa is a SwimEx pool, model 500 OS. It is a fiberglass pool that can be installed outside or inside. The solid fiberglass shell of this swimming pool, built like a high performance yacht, is impervious to sun, easy to clean, and has an insulated wood core for superior temperature retention.

Don’t let the awkward shape or size of your backyard hold you back from the luxury pool of your dreams. Instead, let us optimize your space as we did for this client. The linear layout of the backyard called for a unique concept that is also highly functional to maximize space. Before the waterfalls were constructed, we poured a 90-degree vertical concrete wall that was fortified with boulders to ensure complete waterproofing and stability to protect the soil. Continuing the custom stone work, rising planters were created to also serve as additional seating on the lower tier. In addition, both the waterslide and spa were finished with a gorgeous 1x1 tile. Within the spa are dual, circular stonework shelves around the spa, one serving as a drink rest, and the other an arm rest. Request Free Quote This swimming pool and hot tub located in Lake Forest, IL measures 20'0" x 40'0" and is 3'6" to 9'0" deep with a diving board. The shallow end features full end steps with attached benches. Both pool and spa have an automatic pool safety cover with custom stone walk-on lid system. The pool surface is French Gray. The pool coping is Sandblasted Bluestone with a modified edge. The spa exterior is clad with brick, and the decking is full range bluestone. Photos by Larry Huene

Beautiful custom pool, spa & cabana designed by Mike Farley in Trophy Club, TX. The spa is the focal point for the home 365 days of the year. It was raised 18" high for comfortable seating and a nice water feature. 3 stainless steel spill edges match the spillways coming out of the fire and water bowls. The silver Splitface Travertine tile matches the coping and porch Travertine. The rolled edge spa tile also matches the tile used on the pool waterline and details. The grade drops in the yard so the back of the spa is bar height so the patio was included for barstools on the back of the spa. The fireplace in the cabana provides screening from the neighbors view. The pool and spa had to be piered because the grade was raised 10' above the golf course. Waterway Jets were used to provide a variety of hydrotherapy options. Beauty and function are the best combination for a spa and this one has it all.

AquaTerra Outdoors was hired to bring life to the outdoors of the new home. When it came time to design the space we were challenged with the tight space of the backyard. We worked through the concepts and we were able to incorporate a new pool with spa, custom water feature wall, Ipe wood deck, outdoor kitchen, custom steel and Ipe wood shade arbor and fire pit.
