Fireplace - We got rid of the more pueblo style fireplace (seen in the before pictures) and created a modern fireplace with stone, granite and porcelain. We kept the old firebox.

To achieve the beauty found in natural slate, Auburn Tile and Auburn Lite concrete roofing tile are flat and authentically smaller in size with a natural "broken leading edge", a product of a refined manufacturing process, each tile has a slightly different break than the preceding one. Get the old world look with Auburn Tile.

This valance coordinates nicely with the panel drapes in the preceding pictures. We used the green fabric as a contrast to the red plaid fabric, but kept with the same tie-back holders to attach the valance. Cherry wood blinds fit right in with the warm colors of the room. HomStyl

The billiard room includes intricate moldings and wood paneling designs inspired by classical and historical design precedents, with expert custom stains applied by master skilled artisans. This new home is inspired by the Colonial architecture found in the region. Situated on a stunning site bordering wooded conservation land with towering oak and beech trees, the connection to nature is of paramount importance. While the main body of the house adheres to historical precedent, the rear of the house and the various wings open up to the surrounding landscape with multi-purpose spaces and monumental windows. A geothermal system provides the hot water, heating and cooling.
