Our client came to us with the vision of sprucing up her outdated builder grade kitchen. The uninteresting space had no resemblance to the rest of the home or the homeowners personality. We had the challenge of blending each to make a functional but lavish kitchen for her and her family to enjoy. Tucked away in the suburbs of New York City, we developed a metropolitan chic concept to present to the homeowner. She feel in love with the theme and off we went. Our design revamped and revitalized the kitchen with a 360 degree turn. The once dull kitchen was brought to life. We added instant style by incorporating jeweled hardware and a decorative glass backsplash to create the perfect space.

A well-hidden place where the spirit finds its peace, nested between the Romagna, the Marches and Tuscany. Entering the gate, one leaves behind the pace of chaotic lives, and abandons itself to the joy of living of this ancient land. It is meant to be understood as a site of experience, where nature, culture, history and pleasure are elevated to the centre of things in order to finally rediscover it in oneself. A sort of “back to the simplicity”, aiming to dedicate oneself to observation and drawing from it valuable experiences for one’s life. Each of the three houses presents itself as an unexpected world in its own right, closed in on itself and yet a harmonious part of the whole, waiting to be enlivened by lively laughter, animated conversation and playfulness. This territory is a paradise for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. The sheer variety of places and landscapes enables visitors to take excursions on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. History and architecture enthusiasts can follow an itinerary of strongholds and castles dotted around the area. Lovers of gourmet food will discover a full range of traditional dishes and quality local produce all year round. The rich variety of museums enables exploration into the rural arts, medieval architecture, archaeological finds and contemporary art.

Location: Spring Lake, NJ, US Our design goal for this renovation and addition was to present a modern interpretation of Colonial Plantation Style. This home features dark wood floors, wood paneling and a light soothing color scheme. The Dining Room features classic silk De Gournay Wallpaper which further fuses the indoor and outdoor seamlessness of the home. The amazing tile installations permeate the decor with color, texture and pattern. The shaker-style kitchen is refreshed by using black cabinetry, a custom stainless hood and La Cornue Range. We enjoyed adding vintage finds throughout - a farm table for the Kitchen, Bergere chairs in the Entry, and a Victorian Flower mirror in the Powder Room. threshold interiors ensures that your beach retreat is elegant, transitional and most importantly comfortable and relaxing! A master class in modern contemporary design is on display in Ocala, Florida. Six-hundred square feet of River-Recovered® Pecky Cypress 5-1/4” fill the ceilings and walls. The River-Recovered® Pecky Cypress is tastefully accented with a coat of white paint. The dining and outdoor lounge displays a 415 square feet of Midnight Heart Cypress 5-1/4” feature walls. Goodwin Company River-Recovered® Heart Cypress warms you up throughout the home. As you walk up the stairs guided by antique Heart Cypress handrails you are presented with a stunning Pecky Cypress feature wall with a chevron pattern design.

This lively living room has vibrant orange walls that commingle with blue accent chairs. A vertical mirror above the comfortable white sofa provides a visual focal point.

This stunning glass enclosed "jewel box" wine cabinet features sapele mahogany with display cradles to present bottles label forward, accent lighting and storage for up to 430 bottles in a miniature wine cellar.

This beautiful kitchen is Thyme & Place Design's take on modern farmhouse style. White painted full access custom cabinets frame the perimeter of the space and a custom soft gray paint adorns the island cabinetry. The former kitchen felt tight and lacked style while this new kitchen has attitude to spare. Sub Zero and Wolf appliances set the stage for a cooks delight. An antique barn beam was used to create the mantle and corbels for an updated version of a mantle hood. Ample storage for everything a gourmet cook could want was provided. Deep drawers hold all the pots and pans for daily cooking. Pull out storage holds oil and vinegar bottles for instant recipe inspiration. A magic corner cabinet allows access to mixing bowls and colanders. Extra height wall cabinet storage contains several sets of dishes and most used foods at the cook’s fingertips. The island does double duty providing seating for extra guests, presenting a large expanse of countertop for all types of cooking prep. There is a microwave drawer for quick reheats and the most coveted by a baker, a built-in mixer lift. Behind the island, an oversized glass door pantry closet holds everything from pantry staples, to holiday dishes and oversized cooking and serving pieces. The dining area found a renewed sense of purpose with the removal of walls which cut it off from the rest of the home. New sky lights and a updated sliding door flood the space with light and open the view to the beautiful yard. A coffee bar was added which includes additional dish storage and a beverage center. Black ebonized maple with honey bronze hardware is a dramatic balance to the white and grey of the kitchen. The space was further opened to the family room which is now an integrated part of the family’s gatherings. Honey Bronze accents are repeated in the light fixtures over the island and as an accent on the sconces above the coffee bar.
