This custom home was masterfully designed by Platt Architecture. Reclaimed Wonder is located within the exclusive Wade Hampton Golf Club in Cashiers, North Carolina. Every detail of the residence reflects a discerning attention to craftsmanship, resulting in a home that is both artful and inviting. In the bedroom, a simple yet refined stone fireplace anchors the space, its intimate scale creating a cozy, contemplative retreat. Paired with reclaimed wood beams, carefully selected indigenous stone, and warm amber lighting, the room exudes a sense of understated elegance, seamlessly connecting comfort with the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. The primary bedroom opens onto the outdoor living area. The retractable screens on the outdoor space allow the bedroom doors to remain open when the weather is cool. Soft linen bedding, a leather bench cushion and wooden fan add beautiful layers to the space. The back wall is papered in a dark blue grass cloth and highlighted with a wooden beam in the corner. Sconce lights free up space on the bedside table and frame the bed.

The homeowners were seeking a major renovation from their original master bath. The young family had completed several remodeling projects on the first floor of their 1980’s era home and the time had finally come where they wanted to focus on the second floor, particularly their master bath which was cramped and overpowered by a Jacuzzi-style tub. After multiple design meetings spent choosing the right hardware and materials, everything was set, and the transformation began! Drury designer, Diana Burton, began by borrowing some space from the bedroom this way they were able to reconfigure the whole layout, which made a big difference to the homeowner. The floating vanity cabinets paired with quartz counters, wall-mounted fixtures, and mirrors featuring built-in lighting enhance the room’s sleek, clean look.

This 5,200-square-foot Spanish Transitional courtyard estate in Bakersfield blends timeless Spanish architectural character with contemporary California living. The primary bath includes a private wood-lined dry sauna designed as part of the suite’s dedicated wellness experience. Horizontal wood paneling wraps the walls and ceiling for a warm, immersive environment, while tiered wood bench seating provides a traditional sauna arrangement. Its direct integration with the primary bath creates a private home-spa amenity within the suite.

Tiny House bathroom Photography: Gieves Anderson Noble Johnson Architects was honored to partner with Huseby Homes to design a Tiny House which was displayed at Nashville botanical garden, Cheekwood, for two weeks in the spring of 2021. It was then auctioned off to benefit the Swan Ball. Although the Tiny House is only 383 square feet, the vaulted space creates an incredibly inviting volume. Its natural light, high end appliances and luxury lighting create a welcoming space.
