The decision to paint the walls predominantly white instantly promoted brightness and airiness into the room, setting the stage for a modern makeover. Knocking down the wall separating the kitchen from the family room added a touch of spaciousness and promoted seamless interaction between the two areas. With a focus on public spaces, we nearly all forget to prioritize our own personal space, which ends up being our bedrooms. For this project – a master bedroom, our client lovingly made it a priority, requesting that we help them feel great there. That should always be the goal of any space – period. But for a master bed, good design adds tenderness to that feeling. By opening up the space and brightening it with a beautiful color palette of grays, linens, whites and blues, this room now feels calm and well-tended to. A large upholstered king bed, keeps pace with the room’s proportions and provides comfort to any type of sleeper. Two pairs of large euro shams, allow for an endless array of comfortable positioning regardless of personal preference and a custom built in, keeps a television put away when not in use. Scaled to directionalize the room, the built in gathers favorite things and provides endless storage for blankets or extra clothing. I added a broad set of French doors, to ensure ready access to the outside deck, which sits stunningly on the lake. Now bright and in tune with the architecture, the inside outside connection is beautifully highlighted. Custom window panels and shade, give this room its personality and play to my strong sense of color and pattern mixing and a low chaise, gives a reader another cozy place for a nap. Ultimately personalized to reflect a happy and relaxed space, this master bedroom is ready to make anyone feel really at home.

In the Llubí garden, our landscape design focuses on creating an aesthetic, functional, and sustainable space. We have prioritized water conservation by avoiding lawns and meadows in favor of a large gravel area. Next to the house wall, we have installed gravel stabilizers to create an ideal space for placing tables for breakfast or snacks. This area features an umbrella situated at the highest point of the garden, offering a panoramic view and allowing for full enjoyment of the surroundings. To break the monotony of the gravel, we have introduced islands of rosemary and lavender, alternating these plants in five long and narrow islands, approximately 7 meters by 2 meters each. These plants will grow, partially covering the gravel and providing a contrasting color with the sea gravel. Additionally, we have created five islands of various wildflowers that will grow and cover the ground, serving as points of flowering. In the center of the garden, we have incorporated a fireplace, creating a perfect space for extraordinary moments with family and friends. Around this central area, we have planted three jacarandas, providing points of shade in the garden. The garden’s design aims to be low maintenance, highlighting wildflowers and creating areas with a high density of these plants, which gives the space a wild and natural character. This approach allows for the enjoyment of a garden that reflects natural beauty with minimal intervention.

Client’s were seeking a luminous, coastal-inspired kitchen that honored Puget Sound views, the clients required a high-functioning space for an expanding family, including four adult children and future in-laws. This 2021 Modern Coastal masterpiece features a highly textured exterior that prioritizes custom craftsmanship and architectural depth. The primary siding consists of 13" NuCedar RoughSawn Shingles finished in the light, breezy gray of Argos, which serves as a canvas for the intricate Fancy Shapes Diamond shingle patterns integrated directly into the walls. The design achieves a sophisticated, layered look by pairing the shingles with warm Cedar color Shiplap 6" with a 1/4" gap installed on the porch ceilings.

In this bathroom remodel project, our team undertook a comprehensive transformation by removing outdated elements such as the pink shower and vanity tile. To optimize the space, we carefully demolished walls, creating a larger shower area. Additionally, we prioritized the upgrade of plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring efficiency and safety. The installation of a new walk-in shower adorned with beautiful tile became the centerpiece of the renovated bathroom. Finally, a new vanity was carefully selected and installed to harmonize with the refreshed shower, completing the transformation with style and functionality.

Combine a couple who loves to entertain, a large blended family who loves to visit and a penchant for cooking and cocktails and you have a floor plan switch up which prioritizes those needs appropriately. We took the off-kitchen laundry room and created an entertainment mecca featuring vast storage, wet bars and easy access to the kitchen for party flow. For visiting family we divided a Jack and Jill bathroom to house two bathroom suites for two guest rooms.

The exterior features white board-and-batten siding, dark roofing, and warm wood accents for a balanced, modern mountain aesthetic. ​ Main Level: Three bedrooms and three bathrooms provide convenient, stair-free living. Upper Level: The primary suite occupies the entire top floor, offering added privacy and access to a balcony with views of the surrounding Blue Ridge mountains.
