We removed one L-shaped wall to open up the kitchen area to the rest of the home, this relieved high traffic areas in the home and improved the flow of the main level tremendously. We also removed a closet to help maximize their space. We added a mudroom off of the kitchen with lockers for easy organization of the kid’s backpacks, coats, and shoes. The homeowners had some specific ideas in mind for the style of the kitchen. They wanted two-toned shaker cabinets, white backsplash with a unique design, and they requested large floor tiles. This Langley, B.C. kitchen renovation elevated the look of our client’s home. How to Clean Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Floors Ceramic tile and porcelain tile floors are incredibly durable but there are a few things that can make keeping them clean and looking good easy. Here's the simple process we follow: 1. Clean up loose debris: Sweep or vacuum your tile floors regularly to keep them from getting dull. Ceramic tiles may be resistant to dirt, but sand and grit can dull the glazed surfaces. 2. Choose the right floor mop: Clean tile with mild detergent and clean water using a rag or chamois-type mop rather than a sponge mop. Rag and chamois-style mops are best for cleaning tile because sponge mops tend to push dirty water into the grout lines, making them harder to clean. Be sure to change the water frequently while mopping; dirty water equals a cloudy floor. 3. Be on the look for tile stains: If you find a discoloration, try to determine what type substance made the stain and use the right cleaner to remove. 4. Watch for soap residue: If your tiles look hazy even after cleaning, you might be dealing with soapy residue. Remove the film with a nonabrasive all-purpose cleaner. 5. Dry tiles too: Don't let your glazed tile floors air-dry—the sitting water will form water spots. Take care of that by drying the floor with a clean, lint-free cloth immediately after washing.

Reclaimed Oak Barn Siding Wall Covering Weathered Gray. We acquire all kinds of reclaimed lumber from the heart of the Midwest but my personal favorite is the barn siding because each side of the board is unique. Through our precision milling process we use for flooring, we created this solid 3/8" Tongue and groove plank that is deigned for wall accents. It's available in widths that range from 3" up to 10" wide and random lengths up to 10 feet long. You can choose just one particular width or multiple widths. The Weathered Gray face is what you see on the outside of the barn after years of rain, wind, and snow. The Antique Brown is what was facing the inside of the barn. I found that many customers were using our 3/4" reclaimed flooring for wall accents and came up with this solution to preserve both sides of that beautiful material. It was important to me to create a precision milled product on the sides and the back for good fit and easy installation. The profile of the Tongue side allows the product to be blind nailed just like hardwood flooring. No Adhesives are necessary. We completely preserve the original face and give just a light sanding to clean up any loose pieces. You get all that beautiful original saw mark texture, weathered knots and rusty nail holes. Our reclaimed products are completely denailed and kiln dried to ensure you get a stable product.

A classic Seattle craftsman home is reimagined and restored. We cherished the opportunity to help a young couple in Seattle develop a materials, fixtures and lighting package for their beloved home remodel. The master bathroom is layered with a mix of white and black marble hex mosaic floor tile, classic white offset brick pattern subway wall tile, and beautifully crafted wood wainscoting. Kohler's Artifacts plumbing trim collection brings fresh vintage style to the vanity and shower. An easy to care for quartz counter and backsplash adds a bright contrast to the a gorgeous providence blue custom vanity. The powder room which doubles as a guest bathroom is dressed in Pratt and Larson's ceramic mosaic floor tile and paired with a space saving pedestal sink by American Standard. Wall niches lined with white quartz are incorporated into both showers creating a dedicated place to store bathing amenities. The checkboard cork floor in the kitchen adds a FUN pop of personality. Custom mudroom cubbies and a built in eating nook were beautifully crafted and finished in a crisp white paint. Light fixtures by Rejuvenation bathe the room in beautiful period appropriate light. Clever storage hides small appliances and a stand mixer. This project was a labor of love for he homeowners who took an active part in the process and a joy for our team to be involved in! This was a complete master bathroom remodel. The client wanted the space to have a traditional style with a French country feel. The countertops golden accents and the polished chrome fixtures go hand in hand to achieve the soft glam look the client requested. Separate vanities are suitable for partners wishing to coexist while having their own space. The large tiles and clawless freestanding tub give the client the easy clean process that they were looking for. Elegance and clean.

This is an older property, based on the Chattahoochee River; with the original kitchen being dark and bulky. The owners did thorough research and planning, and started the process from finding the best contractors to ordering their tiles from Italy… Our team was chosen from our glowing references as well as nearly two decades of experience in design and remodeling projects. Andy worked closely with the owners to design this kitchen and to bring their dream kitchen to life. They wanted to have a completely new kitchen, that was not only aesthetically beautiful, but also highly functional. We moved walls to create additional space & needed to install a fresh air return system so that the vent would not create a vacuum in the house. The stove has a unique feature, with integrated gas burners installed in the granite top. Granite is durable, and easy to keep clean. The kitchen oozes storage; the custom-island has seating as well as front and back storage. We have also created additional space with custom cabinets built to store jackets, book-bags, and more. An extreme makeover turns an unassuming lanai deck into an outdoor oasis. These Bonita Bay homeowners loved the location of their home, but needed it to fit their current lifestyle. Because they love to entertain, they wanted to maximize their outdoor space—one that would accommodate a large family and lots of guests. Working with Progressive Design Build, Mike Spreckelmeier helped the homeowners formulate a list of ideas about what they wanted to achieve in the renovation; then, guided them through the process of planning their remodel. The renovation focused on reconfiguring the layout to extend the outdoor kitchen and living area—to include a new outdoor kitchen, dining area, sitting area and fireplace. Finishing details comprised a beautiful wood ceiling, cast stone accents, and porcelain tile. The lanai was also expanded to include a full size bocce ball court, which was fully encased in a beautiful custom colonnade and screen enclosure. With the extension of the outdoor space came a need to connect the living area to the existing pool and deck. The pool and spa were refinished; and a well thought-out low voltage remote-control relay system was installed for easy control of all of the outdoor and landscape lighting, ceiling fans, and hurricane shutters. This outdoor kitchen project turned out so well, the Bonita Bay homeowners hired Progressive Design Build to remodel the front of their home as well. To create much needed space, Progressive Design Build tore down an existing two-car garage and designed and built a brand new 2.5-car garage with a family suite above. The family suite included three bedrooms, two bathrooms, additional air conditioned storage, a beautiful custom made stair system, and a sitting area. Also part of the project scope, we enlarged a separate one-car garage to a two-car garage (totaling 4.5 garages), and build a 4,000 sq. ft. driveway, complete with landscape design and installation.
