There are an infinite number of possible designs, and outdoor fire pits no longer need to be just a round pile of rocks. I work with several basic styles of gas fed fire pits when I design outdoor gardens to enchant my clients.
The popularity of fire pits and the fire effects they produce in the garden is one of fastest growing trends in outdoor design. The allure of sitting around a fire ring has been around since the beginning of mankind. Fire provides warmth, light, a cooking source and, of course relaxation. A dancing flame has a mesmerizing affect that encourages you to unwind and settle in. The popularity of fire pits, or conversation pits as they are commonly called, has grown rapidly in recent years. Proper design and construction will ensure a safe and enjoyable feature that will last several decades
This fully equipped outdoor kitchen is separate from the rest of the living space, allowing the two areas to be utilized entirely on their own. outdoor kitchens are most efficient when it's zoned into logical uses. your cook space should have plenty of prep space, room to set down utensils and stage ingredients, and a comfortable buffer from the seating island to keep guests protected from the heat.

Hideaway, Le Marche - San Marino, Italy
A historical Hideaway.

A well-hidden place where the spirit finds its peace, nested between the Romagna, the Marches and Tuscany. Entering the gate, one leaves behind the pace of chaotic lives, and abandons itself to the joy of living of this ancient land. It is meant to be understood as a site of experience, where nature, culture, history and pleasure are elevated to the centre of things in order to finally rediscover it in oneself. A sort of “back to the simplicity”, aiming to dedicate oneself to observation and drawing from it valuable experiences for one’s life. Each of the three houses presents itself as an unexpected world in its own right, closed in on itself and yet a harmonious part of the whole, waiting to be enlivened by lively laughter, animated conversation and playfulness. This territory is a paradise for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. The sheer variety of places and landscapes enables visitors to take excursions on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. History and architecture enthusiasts can follow an itinerary of strongholds and castles dotted around the area. Lovers of gourmet food will discover a full range of traditional dishes and quality local produce all year round. The rich variety of regional museums enables exploration into the rural arts, medieval architecture, archaeological finds and contemporary art.

Deep shadow lines combined with authentic coloring produce dramatic effects in all our manufactured stone products. To achieve this, we select natural stones from unique geographic regions for every master mold and use only raw pigments and oxides for rich color. Additionally, instead of appearing only on the surface of stone faces, our colors permeate throughout the entire stone, giving each and every manufactured stone a realistic look with hues that last for years, even for exterior uses.

SP212 Terra, 18" x 24" tile
Terra has a warmer more earthy tone than its counterparts in the Opus stone collection. More reminiscent of a travertine pattern, its neutral hue makes for a really versatile backdrop to your interior. Highlight its rectangular tile by choosing a contrasting grout strip for that personal finishing touch.

The Quarry Mill's Bismarck natural thin cut limestone creates a stunning living room fireplace in this beautiful beach house. Bismarck is a natural thin cut limestone veneer in the ashlar style. This popular stone is a mix of two faces or parts of the limestone quarried in two different locations. By blending stones from multiple quarries, we are able to create beautiful and subtle color variations in Bismarck. Although the stone from both quarries is from the same geological formation, one quarry produces the lighter pieces and the other produces the darker pieces. Using the different faces or parts of the stone also sets this blend apart. Some pieces show the exteriors of the natural limestone slabs while others show the interior which has been split with a hydraulic press.

Charcoal Bluff real thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill adds a unique rustic element with the overgrout mortar technique that complements the exposed wood beams of this stunning living room. Charcoal Bluff real stone veneer is a natural limestone with shades of grey, gold and an occasional brown. The stone has a nice range of textures showcasing both the interior part of the stone and the natural bed. The grey pieces are called machine cut or split face and are produced using a 300 ton hydraulic press to break up the raw slabs of stone. The gold and brown pieces are the outer parts of the slabs of stone and were colored over thousands of years as water washed minerals over them. Charcoal Bluff is considered an ashlar pattern, however, there some larger rectangular castle rock pieces making this natural stone veneer great for projects of all sizes.
