Leather Description: Artisan Leathers beautifully evoke this time worn quality, unique to every individual piece, like the originals. To pure aniline leather crusts, already fully and carefully upholstered to the piece, a base color is created with multiple applications of waxes and oils, hand-worked by the leather Artisan. After drying, this craftsman then carefully builds-up the finish with an expert’s eye, and touch, to achieve an aged patina in just the right places to reflect the aged qualities only time, wear, and frequent care could have accomplished naturally. Every individual piece upholstered with Artisan Leather finishing methods is first beautifully built to the highest standards of quality. The leather is then hand-colored and aged to bespeak the loving touch of time, providing a quality antique appearance to a beautiful new piece of quality leather furniture. Every chair, sofa, or bench has its very own unique identity only these hand-crafted methods can provide, reflecting the presence of a time honored past.
True 100% top grain cowhide leather is characterized by variations in shade, texture, color and grain. Healed marks and scars are to be expected and enhance the natural beauty of the hides. These variations are normal and unique features of true genuine 100% top grain cowhide leather.
Frame Construction: Using traditional hand craftsmanship with modern manufacturing methods to produce frames that are among the finest used in the upholstery business. Each frame is precisely cut and hand assembled using kilned dried lumber. Double dowels are utilized in all structural parts to form sturdy, long lasting joints. To complete construction and add stability to the frame, large precisely cut corner blocks are positioned at each corner where the greatest stress occurs using both glues and screws. 2018 HNA Awards Honorable Mention - Concrete Paver - Permeable
Contractor: Sequoia Stonescapes
Producer: Williamette Graystone
Designer: Drake's 7 Dees Landscaping
Eco-Panorama Demi pavers, in a tri-color blend, perfectly complement this home’s exterior. Contrasting color paver bands artfully define the driveway and courtyard. The use of the same pavers in the walkway and courtyard created design continuity and flow. Paver color and texture enhance and seamlessly integrate with an adjacent natural stone retaining wall.
Expert workmanship is showcased via smooth pavement elevation transitions and precise paver trim cuts. This quality Eco-Panorama Demi paver install ensured the homeowner’s stormwater drainage issues were addressed in a manner that enhanced the beauty of their home.
The existing storm drain inlets were retained and work in conjunction with installed Eco-Panorama Demi permeable pavers. The pavers also achieve visual harmonization with the adjacent natural stone wall, which was a project requirement.
This home is positioned at the lower end of a 200ft long drive that drops sixteen feet in elevation from the street entrance. Impervious concrete was replaced with PICP to manage 80,700 gallons of rainwater the pavement receives annually. The PICP improvement eliminated concerns over flooding in the home and garage. The 3500 SF pavement includes a courtyard and vehicle turnaround.
Despite thirty-seven inches of annual rainfall, these homeowners will rest assured their property is protected from rainwater runoff. Keystone Hardscapes’ Eco-Panorama permeable pavers provide improved stormwater management and elevated property value. Stormwater controls critical to the project were achieved and aesthetic beauty was significantly enhanced.

A little farm below a hillside resort-style off-the-grid view home, all offering unparalleled views of the Sonoma Valley and year-round sunsets from every corner of this truly special lot. State-of-the-art sustainable features are incorporated throughout the fully utilized 3 acres, emphasizing self-sufficiency and durability. This small compound property boasts multiple gathering spaces, playgrounds, and an extensive network of paths for communing with nature and slowing down the pace of life and promoting the healthiest of lifestyle in the heart of the Wine Country.
Ideal for both small and large-scale entertainment, every aspect of this freshly built, compound-like estate, thoughtfully designed and with no spared expenses in above and below-ground infrastructure, creating a truly unique property. Perfect for a family, a private couple retreat, or a recreational oasis, it offers dramatic and spectacular views from every level. The floor plan is very versatile and can accommodate multiple uses and configurations, but particular efforts were placed in spending time outside on the multiple decks or in the terraced gardens or tiered gathering spaces.
Developed with a strong emphasis on safety and self-sustenance, the property can operate off the grid, produce its own water, food, and energy, all with the latest technologies and smarthome features. Noble and durable materials are incorporated throughout, including water reuse systems, meticulous hydrology, and marvels of civil engineering to create a unique and peaceful promontory overlooking wineries and magically chiselled landscapes to create the perfect backdrop year round, featuring a dynamic that is just as interesting during the day, and different most days, and extraordinary at night both looking down in the valley and to gaze at the starry sky.
Save money and the environment, or withdraw from the world by utilizing self-sufficiency. Deliberate restraint was exercised to contain or eliminate any carbon footprint and promote indoor outdoor living at its finest. This view property is conveniently located minutes away from the town of Glen Ellen and straddles both Sonoma and Napa County, offering all the best of the Wine Country life, while being close to San Francisco as well.

Two adjacent walls, with an original rigid awning, was one of the first visible fixtures of Scribe Winery in Sonoma, California. A result of prohibition era design and dated. Upon a business renovation, Infinity Canopy provided the perfect transformation from a tired awning system to a patio space that could breathe. Now Scribe Winery's establishment has a face which looks as vibrant as the wines they produce. Owners and brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani, believe the best products come from a harmonious relationship between man and nature. We not only concur, but are happy to assist with this outlook on life, by placing a versatile canopy at the forefront of their establishment. The terrace is now the perfect spot to soak in some drinks, but not the Sun.

Danali Clothing in Winnipeg looked to update their space with a unique revision of their cash desk and workstation table for folding and packaging their high end garments and products.
This project was a collaboration of design/build with Bruce Shefrin Interior Design who designed the pieces and Lucien Woodwork who built all the cabinetry with Wood Anchor fabricating the wood and steel details.
We cladded the cash desk with beautiful 11 foot long full length wide laminations of Elm. The Elm was also utilized on the workstation featuring a 1-1/2″ thick solid wood work top.
The work station drawers feature solid wood Elm doors that we milled from two beautiful book-matched slabs.
We built and fabricated the steel framing on the workstation, the steel shelving and countertop featured on the dash desk.
The collaborative efforts produced the desired results of beautiful design and craftsmanship and most importantly a happy customer!

2018 HNA Awards Winner - Concrete Paver - Residential (size more than 3,000 sf)
Contractor: LR Landscaping
Producer: Keystone Hardscapes
Designer: Tanna Johns
Venetian pavers were selected for their ability to integrate with the earthen tones found in the area’s natural grasses, granite, oaks and rust-toned soil. Pavers were tumbled to achieve a weathered and rustic look, complementing the limestone used on the home.
The home’s exterior includes exudes quality and includes limestone as well as both precast and oil rubbed bronze iron accents. Tumbled pavers balance German Schmear grout style used on the limestone walls and the roof tile mudded ridges and bumps. The commitment to craftsmanship necessitated a 2.5 year build process.
Keystone Hardscapes samples were created and brought to the home during the final stages of constructions to ensure critical harmony between the pavers and exterior elements of the home. The paver samples were laid against the stucco, precast, limestone and cedar garage doors to confirm design alignment and flow.
The natural grade of this site was mitigated through a significant backfill and retaining wall; delivering a subtle slope from street to a flat grade driveway. This provided an even surface for vehicles and, with Venetian pavers, a seamless transition from the entry gate in to the inner courtyard.

Overlooking Semiamhoo Bay, Galadriel is a refined, modern home with the warmth and strength inherently found in West Coast architecture. Textures of natural stone, Douglas fir, glass and steel unify the interior with its geographical setting - surrounded by evergreens and unrestricted views of the ocean. The entrance to the home is accessed by a crossing above a reflecting pool, in which sits a stunning and solitary bonsai which is illuminated from above through an oculus in the roof’s overhang. Expansive outdoor spaces featuring fire features and seating areas are connected by a curved metal staircase set over a blackened steel reflecting pool, adding a graphic element to the rear of the home. Clerestory glazing in an elevated roof area offers an opening into the tree canopy towards the front of the property and allows light to permeate the interior of the home, while full height windows throughout maximize the impressive views. Living spaces throughout provide ample room for entertaining and comfort. Creativity is shown in the many colourful and whimsical accents. The master bedroom features two ensuite baths - a unique request that makes good sense for the owners. Spaces for work, writing and art were given priority reflecting the values and livelihood of our clients. Projecting from a stone clad wall, cantilevered white oak stair treads lead to an extraordinary wine display that incorporates a sculptural component taken as a memento from our client’s work as a producer in the film industry, adding a strong personal dimension.
This home reflects a successful collaboration between Peter Hildebrand and Stefan Walsh of Iredale Group Architecture and KBC Developments.

Shannon and john have an in law suite where family and guest in general stay. When they bought this house it was pretty dated and they want to continue updating , but this time its all the bathrooms, starting here, This bathroom has no windows and both Shannon and John of elderly parents so i suggested getting rid of the old tub/shower combination and doing a sliding door shoer so its easier for Shannons dad who uses a walker to maneuver in and out of. I then took some measurements with ideas i already had and produce 3 different versions/designs for them to choose from. This was the winner. I wanted to create a cheerful relaxed space for their guest and given this bath has no windows i also wanted to use color and bring in some nature. The bright Navy blue vanity with gold accents and the patterned floor is eye catching and bold yet relaxed and welcoming. Adding a 2 small wooden shelves above the toilet brings in warmth and the plant and bird accent add charm and some outdoor greenery.I kept he rest simple so the eye isn't overwhelmed. the end result is a relaxed yet happy feeling and i hope it brings a mile to everyones face.
