The Inverness Bathroom remodel had these goals: to complete the work while allowing the owner to continue to use their workshop below the project's construction, to provide a high-end quality product that was low-maintenance to the owners, to allow for future accessibility, more natural light and to better meet the daily needs of both the husband's and wife's lifestyles. The first challenge was providing the required structural support to continue to clear span the two cargarage below which housed a workshop. The sheetrock removal, framing and sheetrock repairs and painting were completed first so the owner could continue to use his workshop, as requested. The HVAC supply line was originally an 8" duct that barely fit in the roof triangle between the ridge pole and ceiling. In order to provide the required air flow to additional supply vents in ceiling, a triangular duct was fabricated allowing us to use every square inch of available space. Since every exterior wall in the space adjoined a sloped ceiling, we installed ventilation baffles between each rafter and installed spray foam insulation.This project more than doubled the square footage of usable space. The new area houses a spaciousshower, large bathtub and dressing area. The addition of a window provides natural light. Instead of a small double vanity, they now have a his-and-hers vanity area. We wanted to provide a practical and comfortable space for the wife to get ready for her day and were able to incorporate a sit down make up station for her. The honed white marble looking tile is not only low maintenance but creates a clean bright spa appearance. The custom color vanities and built in linen press provide the perfect contrast of boldness to create the WOW factor. The sloped ceilings allowed us to maximize the amount of usable space plus provided the opportunity for the built in linen press with drawers at the bottom for additional storage. We were also able to combine two closets and add built in shelves for her. This created a dream space for our client that craved organization and functionality. A separate closet on opposite side of entrance provided suitable and comfortable closet space for him. In the end, these clients now have a large, bright and inviting master bath that will allow for complete accessibility in the future.

The pull out fillers with decorative pilasters, corbels on the wood hood, fluted clipped corners with decorator ends all add to the French Country design while providing the functions of unique storage and traffic flow thru the space. The mullion doors by the sink make it feel more airy and open and tie in with built in hutch cabinetry at the end of the room proudly displaying the family antique dinnerware. The subway tile with the simple decorative design behind the cooktop provide durability without being overpowering to the cabinetry details. After the devastating Tubbs fire, Craig reimagined this Calistoga property into a wine country retreat for the owners' family as well as corporate/wellness guests. He approached the design by studying the natural elements of the site including trees, views and light, the vernacular design of the area and the clients’ personality. Craig designed a barn and the house – made up of a one-story and a two-story building – connected by a stunning 20-foot steel and glass breezeway. Expansive doors and windows create seamless indoor/outdoor flow and numerous patios and the pool area provide comfortable outdoor spaces. The modern and warm interior is bright, luxurious and comfortable.

Hired by the owners to provide interior design services for a complete remodel of a mid-century home in Berkeley Hills, California this family of four’s wishes were to create a home that was inviting, playful, comfortable and modern. Slated with a quirky floor plan that needed a rational design solution we worked extensively with the homeowners to provide interior selections for all finishes, cabinet designs, redesign of the fireplace and custom media cabinet, headboard and platform bed. Hues of walnut, white, gray, blues and citrine yellow were selected to bring an overall inviting and playful modern palette. Regan Baker Design was responsible for construction documents and assited with construction administration to help ensure the designs were well executed. Styling and new furniture was paired to compliment a few existing key pieces, including a commissioned piece of art, side board, dining table, console desk, and of course the breathtaking view of San Francisco's Bay. The client was recently widowed and had been wanting to remodel her kitchen for a long time. Although the floor plan of the space remained the same, the kitchen received a major makeover in terms of aesthetic and function to fit the style and needs of the client and her small dog in this water front residence. The peninsula was brought down in height to achieve a more spacious and inviting feel into the living space and patio facing the water. Shades of gray were used to veer away from the all white kitchen and adding a dark gray entertainment unit really added drama to the space. Inspiration for a transitional gender-neutral carpeted kids' room remodel in Minneapolis with beige walls

For those who enjoy the finer things in life, this home office has an old world feel with clean lines that offers a beautiful modern twist to this classic beauty. The bold wallpaper and fabric bulletin board create a striking focal point for the semi-custom desk and hutch. The contrasting finishes provide an inviting, yet dramatic air, welcoming the distinguished person who has stories to share of grand experiences and travel. Details such as the federal leg and heavier applied moldings on the doors imbed the feel of fine furniture into the cabinetry. But beyond style, this room includes the unique Desk Multi-Storage Drawer Cabinet. This cabinet has three drawers, each with a roll-out tray. The roll-out trays in the two bottom drawers are great for storing papers, while the top drawer's roll-out tray has dividers to keep pens and other smaller items in order. The Antiquity glass with Traditional mullion enables you to showcase your treasures, while the wood inserts, also with Traditional mullions, provide a decorative way to hide contents, like folders and small office equipment. The bookcase also offers both open and closed storage. The crown molding is shown in the same finish as the wall cabinets and adds to the charm of the room.

This sophisticated home bar strikes a perfect balance between function and high-end design. Open floating shelves stretch across the wall, showcasing an impressive bottle collection beneath a striking hexagon-pattern tile backsplash that climbs all the way to the ceiling. Rich, dark wood cabinets offer storage and depth, while glass-front cabinets elegantly display glassware for easy access. A large beverage fridge ensures everything stays chilled and ready. The bar is finished with a sleek gold faucet and matching water spout above the integrated sink, while open-back bar stools sit neatly at the wood-topped counter—inviting guests to gather in style.

This remodel involved a lot of reconfiguring of the main floor. The kitchen moved to the back of the house, where it overlooks the lovely back yard, and provides more connection to the living room. The laundry, mudroom, powder room, and dining room were also relocated for a better use of the space. The driving factor of this project was the desire for the family to feel more connected to their home and to each other.
