The owners created this lovely tribute to the original owner and architect in an existing alcove adjacent to the front door. Artifacts include a model of the house I discovered while surveying the attic, a pen nib the first owner-artist used for her illustration work (found lodged in a studio drawer), an original illustration, books published by the artist, and the original construction blueprints for the house.

Our client’s modest, three-bedroom house occupies a beautiful, small site having views down the length of Lake Oswego. The design responded to their appreciation of Hawaiian Island/Pacific Rim architecture and to the strict limitation to construction imposed by local zoning. We worked with Forsgren Design Studio on the selection of materials and finishes.
This house was published in the book “Dream Homes of Pacific Northwest” & Homes & Gardens Northwest magazine.

A totally custom wine room and wet bar, built inside one of the building's old vaults. This condo was built within the walls of an historic building in Philadelphia's Washington Square neighborhood. The building was originally home to J.B. Lippincott & Co., who by the end of the 19th century, would become one of the largest and best-known publishers in the world.
