When a large family renovated a home nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains, all bathrooms received dazzling upgrades, but none more so than this sweet and beautiful bathroom for their nine year-old daughter who is crazy for every Disney heroine or Princess.
We laid down a floor of sparkly white Thassos marble edged with a mother of pearl mosaic. Every space can use something shiny and the mirrored vanity, gleaming chrome fixtures, and glittering crystal light fixtures bring a sense of glamour. And light lavender walls are a gorgeous contrast to a Thassos and mother of pearl floral mosaic in the shower. This is one lucky little Princess!

Kitchen/dining room combo - large contemporary medium tone wood floor and beige floor kitchen/dining room combo idea in Phoenix with beige walls

This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.

The curved shape of the roof reflects the laminated lens-shaped lenticular trusses that make up the interior structure, with metal roofing and a corrugated steel soffit providing protection from the harsh elements. A juniper log found on the surrounding hillside received a vigorous sanding and environmentally friendly finish to function as the porch corner post.

Renovisions received a request from these homeowners to remodel their existing master bath with the design goal: a spa-like environment featuring a large curb-less shower with multiple showerheads and a linear drain. Accessibility features include a hand-held showerhead mounted on a sliding bar with separate volume controls, a large bench seat in Blue Pearl granite and a decorative safety bar in a chrome finish. Multiple showerheads accommodated our clients ranging heights and requests for options including a more rigorous spray of water to a soft flow from a ceiling mounted rain showerhead. The various sprays provide a full luxury shower experience.
The curb-less Schluter shower system incorporates a fully waterproof and vapor tight environment to ensure a beautiful, durable and functional tiled shower. In this particular shower, Renovisions furnished and installed an elegant low-profile linear floor drain with a sloped floor design to enable the use of the attractive large-format (17” x 17”) Carrera-look porcelain tiles. Coordinating Carrera-look porcelain tiles with a band of color and shower cubby in Blue Pearl granite tie in with the color of the tile seat and ledge. A custom frameless glass shower enclosure with sleek glass door handles showcases the beautiful tile design.
Replacing the existing Corian acrylic countertops and integrated sinks with granite countertops in Blue Pearl and rectangular under mount porcelain sinks created a gorgeous, striking contrast to the white vanity cabinetry. The widespread faucets featuring crystal handles in a chrome finish, sconce lighting with crystal embellishments and crystal knobs were perfect choices to enhance the elegant look for the desired space.
After a busy day at work, our clients come home and enjoy a renewed, more open sanctuary/spa-like master bath and relax in style.

This 1990's family home received a complete kitchen, and family room remodel. We designed a custom kitchen, furnished the main living areas, and updated finishes throughout, including designing a new fireplace, replacing all of the floors, paint, wallpaper, and lighting.

Stone and siding create a striking facade, and an arched portico mirrors the graceful curves of exterior windows. Multiple gables and an angled courtyard garage spark instant curb appeal. French doors and windows usher in light and views, while columns and a fireplace complement the cathedral great room. The spacious gourmet kitchen features an angled island, and is open to the great room and cathedral dining room. A generous walk-in pantry is located nearby. Accented by a banquette and French doors, the dining room leads to a screened porch and adjacent side porch. Located in the rear of the home for privacy, the exquisite master suite includes an intimate circular sitting nook, fireplace, porch access, huge walk-in closet, and well-appointed bath. Two bedrooms share a dual-vanity bath and a versatile study/bedroom in the front of the home creates optimal space for a home office or library. Numerous porches provide an abundance of space for outdoor living, including the screened porch with fireplace and summer kitchen, perfect for alfresco dining and entertaining.

Backyard designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and built by Gappsi in Kings Park, NY. Starting with the installation of a gunite swimming pool, travertine patio, and a pavilion with outdoor kitchen. This backyard received a complete transformation.
The old railroad tie retaining wall was removed and re-constructed with a poured reinforced-concrete wall. It was then veneered with tumbled travertine split-face veneers and finished on top with 12 inch wide, 2 inch thick travertine coping. Sheer descent water features were also installed in the wall over the center spilling into the pool.
The custom designed swimming pool has a roman end by the diving area, steps and a spa in the shallow area, and a sundeck with an LED water bubbler on the long side of the pool facing across the pool to the water feature. The bluestone coping installed for swimming pool and spa complement the porcelain tiles installed in the swimming pool water line. The tile markers outline the steps, benches, sundeck, and the spa interior. The finish of the pool is Super Blue Diamond Brite, which consists of a white quartz with speckle of blue.
An outdoor kitchen was constructed with granite counter top overhanging the stool sitting area. All walls were veneered with split-face tumbled travertine and Twin-Eagle appliances were installed. The appliances include a 24-inch griddle, see-through refrigerator, bar sink, ice maker, a large burner, and many storage cabinets. A 16x16 pavilion was custom-built over the outdoor cooking area, completed with stained wood beams in the ceiling and all synthetic wood trims wrapping the four columns and fascia.
The entire backyard floor and pool patio was completed with Moca tumbled french pattern travertine. The outdoor lighting is designed and installed to uniformly light up the backyard and accent each area. And a free-standing gas fire pit is also placed within the couch area facing the pool.

A builder basic floor plan with a generic kitchen design receives a light and bright remodel that spares no detail. This kitchen needed everything; a new floor plan, new appliances, new cabinets, new lighting and a new color scheme. To modernize the space a crisp white cabinet with a dark grey island were used. Stainless steel appliances help accent the white cabinets. Waterstone faucetry, a Miele coffee center, separate beverage fridge and wine fridge elevate this kitchen to the next level. Large turnings at the island overhang, glass with mullions at cabinet doors and under cabinet molding add to the over all attention to detail. The backsplash is glass subway tile accented with a dark match stick stripe. This kitchen is far from generic now!
