Antique Elm Flooring brings warm golden brown tones and rich grain into this modern living room, grounding the space beneath walls of windows that open up to a stunning treetop view. Our Antique Elm flooring is milled from barn timbers dating from 1820 to 1880, and sports unique marks such as wormholes, peg holes, and mortise pockets imparted by centuries old woodworking.
Because of widespread Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s, new Elm wood is nearly impossible to find, making reclaimed timbers the best option if you want its invitingly warm tones in your home. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every board goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, so this rare wood performs beautifully in a modern living space.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood flooring into a living room or any room in your home, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to get started.

This rustic lakeside living room centers around a stone fireplace beneath a reclaimed wood ceiling with exposed beams, paired with a leather sectional, built-in wood cabinetry, and a wall of windows and glass doors opening to the lake beyond.
The Antique Skim Oak ceiling paneling is milled from a mix of red and white oak, salvaged from century old structures across the United States, skip planed to leave the distressed marks of its original milling intact. The Weathered Antique box beams are built from a mix of softwoods, from hemlock to pine, sourced from joists, roof boards, decking, and walls of late 19th and early 20th century structures, carrying a natural patina earned over a century of weathering. The Antique White Oak mantel is milled from timberstock salvaged from 19th century industrial buildings, showcasing the grain patterns and durability of old growth oak against the stacked stone fireplace.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a lakeside living room, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood ceiling paneling, box beams, and mantels to bring that antique charm into your space. The most notable design component is the exceptional use of reclaimed wood throughout nearly every application. Sourced from not only one, but two different Indiana barns, this hand hewn and rough sawn wood is used in a variety of applications including custom cabinetry with a white glaze finish, dark stained window casing, butcher block island countertop and handsome woodwork on the fireplace mantel, range hood, and ceiling. Underfoot, Oak wood flooring is salvaged from a tobacco barn, giving it its unique tone and rich shine that comes only from the unique process of drying and curing tobacco.

Created by the talented architects at Platt Architecture, this custom home is located within the private Wade Hampton Golf Club community in Cashiers, North Carolina. Every detail of the home was carefully considered, from the reclaimed beams and wall planks to the warm amber lighting that enhances the natural palette. This rustic modern farmhouse kitchen features a dramatic vaulted ceiling wrapped in reclaimed wood paneling, anchored by a large center island, light wood cabinetry, and industrial pendant lighting. Sliding glass doors open toward a lake view, connecting the kitchen to an adjoining dining area and sunroom beyond.
The Antique Skim Oak paneling overhead is milled from a mix of red and white oak, salvaged from century old structures across the United States, then skip planed to leave the distressed marks of its original milling on giant saws more than 100 years ago, giving the ceiling a warm, textured canopy over the entire room.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a kitchen with real character overhead, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood ceiling paneling to bring that antique charm into your space.
