Fresh paint lightened the condo while touches of distressed whitewashed wood and wallpaper add some texture and drama.

Behind the pond is a storm drain at the lowest point of the two adjoining yards. Last year we built a berm around it to prevent storm water from entering it and put two rain gardens surrounding it. In front of one of the rain gardens is the pond. Water sheets down the backyard lawn, into the pond, and then overflows into the rain garden. Species in front of the pond are Southern Blue Flag Iris and Marsh Marigold. Behind the pond in the rain garden are only two species - Brown Fox Sedge and Cardinal Flower (if you look closely you will see the red flowers).

This is a vignette in the Gypsy House Design store. Its an entry way with a swinging 60's theme. The red vintage vinyl records, the original Union Jack painting and the Swag Lamp give this a great retro feel and unique eclectic vibe.

Sitting at the mouth of the Poudre River Canyon; sky line rimmed by red rock. We brought these two elements right up to the home. River stones wend their way through the flag, hints of oxbow 'ghosts' here and there. The boulder, a river island awash in fragrant natives and wild flowers. Take a seat.
