Each wing of this former stable and carriage house became separate homes for two brothers. Although the structure is symmetrical from the exterior, it is uniquely distinct inside. The two siblings have different personalities and lifestyles; each wing takes on characteristics of the brother inhabiting it. The domed and vaulted space between the two wings functions as their common area and can be used to host large- scale social events.

This coastal living design won best exterior in the Indianapolis Home Show. The combination of stone and shake provide the elegant but relaxed feel of the home. Notice the large round porch extension great for outdoor living as well.

This custom reclaimed wood bathroom vanity anchors the space with rich, warm tones and rugged texture, its drawer and cabinet door design accented by black hardware for a classic farmhouse look. Matching reclaimed wood window trim frames the view outside, tying the space together and echoing the vanity's grain and character throughout the room.
At Manomin Resawn Timbers, we specialize in custom reclaimed wood pieces built to fit your exact vision, from cabinetry and vanities to matching architectural details like window trim. Every piece starts with salvaged timbers pulled from structures dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries, giving each build a one of a kind character that cannot be replicated with new lumber.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring custom character into a farmhouse style bathroom, Manomin Resawn Timbers can craft a reclaimed wood vanity to fit your space. Designers looking to coordinate reclaimed wood across multiple design elements will find great inspiration here. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message.

This couple moved from Chicago’s Wicker Park to a rural setting but wanted to maintain their modern aesthetic. Scott Dresner of Dresner Design created a modern spa oasis for the couple’s master bathroom. The second project completed by Scott in the couple’s home. On the client’s, wish list…a luxurious space to relax, a new window to replace the dated looking glass block, great storage for towels and larger items as well as smaller toiletries. Scott accomplished a variety of storage with deep vanity drawers with push hardware, medicine cabinets with storage on the entire wall, and a large linen closet. Finishes are modern with a hint of warmth created by the floating walnut vanity and trim work. LED light along the vanity and medicine cabinets create a soft ambience perfect for a relaxing bath. Floors are radiant heat, window treatment is motorized, and panel controls a speaker and LED lighting in the rain showerhead.

Custom Window Treatments by Alluring Window!
If you are located in Manhattan looking for custom window treatments, New York is home to Alluring Window, a company that provides you with window treatments that will leave your home and office windows looking clean and beautiful

In the hills of San Anselmo in Marin County, this 5,000 square foot existing multi-story home was enlarged to 6,000 square feet with a new dance studio addition with new master bedroom suite and sitting room for evening entertainment and morning coffee. Sited on a steep hillside one acre lot, the back yard was unusable. New concrete retaining walls and planters were designed to create outdoor play and lounging areas with stairs that cascade down the hill forming a wrap-around walkway. The goal was to make the new addition integrate the disparate design elements of the house and calm it down visually. The scope was not to change everything, just the rear façade and some of the side facades.
The new addition is a long rectangular space inserted into the rear of the building with new up-swooping roof that ties everything together. Clad in red cedar, the exterior reflects the relaxed nature of the one acre wooded hillside site. Fleetwood windows and wood patterned tile complete the exterior color material palate.
The sitting room overlooks a new patio area off of the children’s playroom and features a butt glazed corner window providing views filtered through a grove of bay laurel trees. Inside is a television viewing area with wetbar off to the side that can be closed off with a concealed pocket door to the master bedroom. The bedroom was situated to take advantage of these views of the rear yard and the bed faces a stone tile wall with recessed skylight above. The master bath, a driving force for the project, is large enough to allow both of them to occupy and use at the same time.
The new dance studio and gym was inspired for their two daughters and has become a facility for the whole family. All glass, mirrors and space with cushioned wood sports flooring, views to the new level outdoor area and tree covered side yard make for a dramatic turnaround for a home with little play or usable outdoor space previously.
