This customer was referred to us by a local real estate agent who was familiar with our work and trusted us to deliver an amazing finished product.
Initially, the customer was interested in doing a simple face lift on their master bath; however, their focus shifted during the design phase and they decided to go with a complete master bath remodel.
To help with the design process, the customer came to us with a design they discovered on Houzz.com, the use of which we fully encourage for all of our customers because it serves as a great tool to help homeowners settle upon the perfect style and theme.
Once a final design was chosen, we created several rough draft estimates to fine-tune the scope of the project and began the process of getting the necessary materials on site, which plays a vital role in avoiding delays. Once all of the materials arrived, we began work on the three-week remodel.
In the end, this particular customer wanted an elegant and simple, yet functional and clean line master bathroom - something modern with a sense of traditional class. Upon completion, the finished product was not only stylish, but incredibly beautiful, leaving the customer extremely happy with our work.

The Parasite Installation is the outcome of the cooperation between the architect Hsieh Ying Chun and TCA Think Tank, led by Pier Alessio Rizzardi, Zhang Hankun and Martin Huba
The pavilion took part in the installation Synergy & Symbiosis during the Architecture Biennale 2014 at the garden outside the Chinese Pavilion attracting visitors arriving from the Giardini and Arsenale exhibitions. (Based on the Bug Dome pavilion, a similar experiment from Hong Kong 2009, constructed by Weak! Architects as an icon of “illegal architecture).
The structure was primarily used as physical research of fundamental elements of the traditional space, understanding the basic concepts behind traditional Chinese spaces created the reference to developing the design.
We were happy to use simple parametric tools to build the form defined by two curves interacting with the existing permanent structure. As a result was created a lively spatial composition shaped by a single curved mesh.
The workshop used contemporary and locally produced economical materials, such as wires, metal nets and PVC pipes. The pipes are bent to create arches that guarantees zero impact, as well as a temporary environment for the fragile Venice Biennale venue. PVC was chosen for its flexibility, which allows several possible and flexible forms.

This master bath remodel is the cat's meow for more than one reason! The materials in the room are soothing and give a nice vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. We completed a kitchen remodel for this client a few years’ ago and were delighted when she contacted us for help with her master bath!
The bathroom was fine but was lacking in interesting design elements, and the shower was very small. We started by eliminating the shower curb which allowed us to enlarge the footprint of the shower all the way to the edge of the bathtub, creating a modified wet room. The shower is pitched toward a linear drain so the water stays in the shower. A glass divider allows for the light from the window to expand into the room, while a freestanding tub adds a spa like feel.
The radiator was removed and both heated flooring and a towel warmer were added to provide heat. Since the unit is on the top floor in a multi-unit building it shares some of the heat from the floors below, so this was a great solution for the space.
The custom vanity includes a spot for storing styling tools and a new built in linen cabinet provides plenty of the storage. The doors at the top of the linen cabinet open to stow away towels and other personal care products, and are lighted to ensure everything is easy to find. The doors below are false doors that disguise a hidden storage area. The hidden storage area features a custom litterbox pull out for the homeowner’s cat! Her kitty enters through the cutout, and the pull out drawer allows for easy clean ups.
The materials in the room – white and gray marble, charcoal blue cabinetry and gold accents – have a vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. Polished nickel fixtures and hardware add sparkle, while colorful artwork adds some life to the space.

The Garden Shed provides a comfortable work space for any home garden. Built with aesthetics in mind, this shed will complement the beauty of your home and garden and provide great storage space for your gardening tools and supplies.
The Garden Shed comes with an 8/12 pitched roof with a 6" boxed overhang, transom windows over the doors, and an 18" x 27" window with flower box. It has solid framing built with treated material, ¾” floor decking, and 7’ sidewalls.
The doors are solid and made to last, built from the same material as the shed. They come with sturdy piano hinges and a keyed lock. Leveling blocks and roofing paper are included.
This shed is available with vinyl siding, HardiPlank or SmartSide.

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. How to Lay Chevron Flooring (Step-by-Step Guide)
Chevron flooring is a premium parquet style known for its clean, V-shaped pattern. While it delivers a high-end finish, it requires precision and planning to install correctly.
1. Prepare the Subfloor
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and perfectly level. Even small imperfections can cause misalignment in the chevron pattern.
2. Plan Your Layout
Mark a centre line (central axis) across the room. This acts as your guide to keep the pattern symmetrical and balanced.
For a smarter, easier way to plan your layout, calculate materials, and visualise your room before installation, use this free tool: anyonecanlayafloor.com
3. Create a Starter Block
Assemble several left and right planks into a starter block and allow it to set. This creates a solid reference point for the rest of the floor.
4. Dry Lay First Rows
Lay a few rows without adhesive to check alignment and ensure the V-shape pattern flows correctly before fixing.
5. Glue and Install Planks
Apply adhesive and begin laying from the centre line outward. Carefully position each plank at the correct angle (typically 45°) to maintain the chevron design.
6. Maintain Expansion Gaps
Leave a 5–8mm gap around the room edges to allow for natural wood movement and prevent warping.
7. Cut Edges and Finish
Trim planks to fit edges using a mitre saw, then install skirting or beading for a clean, professional finish.

Originally dark and dated, this kitchen was transformed to enhance function and open up the kitchen. We cut down the old, two-tiered island to one level, creating a beautiful contrast against the freshly painted white perimeter cabinets.

When someone is willing to put his or her own name on someone else's product, it's the ultimate show of trust. Take it from someone who is doing just that. Steve D'Gerolamo, owner of The Ultimate Garage, a home garage workspace design and consulting business, has made a comfortable living putting his valued name behind over 1,000 Lista cabinets and workbenches since 1995 for his clients. And the number keeps growing.
Steve has installed Lista solutions in every size, shape and configuration: drawer storage cabinets in a variety of heights, widths and depths; work areas with counter tops over cabinets; workbenches; overhead cabinets, Storage Wall systems and other Lista products.
"I'm an organization freak," says Steve. "The thing I really like most about the Lista system is that you can customize the drawer layouts to exactly match your storage needs. And then there's the wide variety of products, and the flexibility of the system. For the same reasons, Lista products make great office furniture. I really believe in the products."
A whole new idea in "kitchen cabinets."
Pride is something Steve does not take lightly. "I design for everyone from small hobbyists to very elaborate home garages to racing trailers. I design every job as if I were doing it for myself, because it has to be a project I can be proud of."
“ The garage is like a man's kitchen. I'm a car nut, but more than that, I'm a tool nut. ”
Steve is quick to put his cars where his mouth is. "The garage is like a man's kitchen," he says, referring to his own home-away-from-home, which houses his own collection of fuel-efficient cars. "I spent 20 years at IBM, so this is a second career for me. Basically, I enjoy getting my hands dirty. I'm a car nut, but more than that, I'm a tool nut."
Steve continues, "I've been working with Lista since I started doing garage and workshop installations. There are plenty of competitive products these days but when it comes to quality, durability, and value, Lista is my only choice for workshop storage needs. Equally as important, the company support and service is unparalleled in this industry....these folks are at the top of my list."
As for Steve's clients, "They're very impressed with Lista," he says. "A lot of my jobs start with the use of just one Lista piece, and over the years the customers end up buying 30 or 40 pieces."

The decisions of when and how to engage in an restoration intervention are critical to the ultimate conservation of the object. Ultimately, the decision is value based: a combination of artistic, contextual, and informational values is normally considered. In some cases, a decision to not intervene may be the most appropriate choice. Creating a space that combined the warmth of an older home with the features and materials of today was the task for the designer on this project located on Cape Cod. The designer used Mouser Cabinetry with a beaded face frame and the Stratford inset door style in white throughout the kitchen. Wood beams are the focal point and draw the eye to the vaulted ceiling.
