Retro Fit ceiling project. Between trusses installation of IsoPine ceiling boards from the IsoBoard range. Edges finished with quarter round and entire ceiling painted with 2 x coats white PVA paint. "IsoBoard is a rigid board bulk thermal insulator, available in various thicknesses and lengths to meet most requirements. IsoBoard believe in being conservative when making claims as to the performance of our products, and testing these claims regularly through reputable agencies, such as the Board of Agre’ment."

We had a several challenges to face with this project. Not only did we need to update a dated landscape to accommodate two seemingly different design tastes (modern & minimalistic vs natural english garden), we were tasked with improving the property’s drainage, improving the driveway access, reducing water usage and plant maintenance, and fixing a crumbling wall. To marry the two design tastes, we started with the more modern elements of metal planters and softened the landscape with mass plantings of ornamental grasses and native sedge. These grasses act as a turf replacement that do not need to be mowed and require less regular watering. On each side of the yard we constructed new cedar fences to provide updated and additional privacy. In addition, we poured a new concrete wall to replace the existing retaining wall and play off the new modern vibe.

Designing a whole home remodel for a client’s second home was an exciting opportunity to create a space that felt both welcoming and timeless. The clients wanted a space that felt light, bright, and timeless. We focused on an open-concept layout, maximizing natural light and incorporating soft, neutral tones that complemented the desert landscape. The main showstopper of the home was the kitchen, which the family considered the heart of the home. Featuring high-end finishes, the kitchen became a space for both cooking and gathering, designed for both functionality and elegance. Thoughtful touches, such as custom cabinetry, integrated appliances, and custom hood, helped elevate the entire space, making it a true focal point. With a thoughtful blend of modern design and classic touches, the remodel was tailored to ensure the space could grow with the family and become a place they would cherish and enjoy for years to come.

As a result, many Parisian residents are accustomed to following certain protocols when using their bathroom facilities, such as being careful not to flush certain items down the toilet or disposing of waste in specific ways. Despite these challenges, however, Parisian apartment bathrooms remain a beloved and essential part of the city's cultural heritage, embodying the unique blend of functionality and style that defines French design.

We didn't do much here but add a small table for al fresco dining. Coastal mountain living requires regular maintenance, the pergola will get some new paint later in the season! It was more important to have a dining space out here than for it to be perfect. Thee mix of concrete and wood decking adds interest and texture.
