Upon ending a 20 year career at CitiBank, Bill began a new chapter in his life. After Mila’s passing and while still working for CitiBank, Bill devoted his spare time to BKC, overseeing and managing its daily business activities. These VG Fir doors are from our RENU series, which uses sustainable species of trees to create wood veneers which mimic other less sustainable species. In this case, Vertical Grain Fir. The advantages is it still has the look and feel of wood (because it's made from real wood) but because it's engineered there are no flaws which means less waste, and it's made from sustainable, responsibly farmed trees! Other species we offer in this series are Zebra Wood, Rift White Oak, Rift Teak, and Madagascar Ebony.

Solution 1.8 is a mid-size heating device that earns high marks in both performance and attractive styling. Its slightly curved top, arched door, distinctive lines and choice of pedestal or curved legs creates a look that combines rustic with modern. Like all wood-burning models in the Enerzone line, it uses combustion technology with a secondary air supply tested to meet EPA emissions standards (Environmental Protection Agency). The particulate matter is burned before being released into the atmosphere for economic combustion that protects the environment.
