A dynamic client desired a secluded respite enclave for their Bedford home. The pool and terrace area anchors the enclave featuring an cabana/entertainment cottageesque structure at one end and multi-level seating grotto's with a central outdoor fireplace at the other end. The comprehensive design addressed a range of needs including serving intimate family moments while accommodating large gatherings. From family to guests who primarily work in the music industry, the entire enclave was designed to serve a wide bandwidth of needs. The cabana features a large open plan gathering room complete with wood burning fireplace, media wall, game areas and open full service kitchen/bar areas with adjacent cafe table seating. The gathering room opens directly onto the terrace area via large folding french doors providing a combination of 24' clear area in 3 openings. Cutting edge media is linked to a robust integrated wifi network throughout the interior and exterior serving state of the art interior and exterior audio systems.

BEECH Vulcano Fresco Arcolino milled / white oil Arco and Arcolino hava a strong and raised structure. Especially when barefoot the feel is of a fine experience for our stressed-out feet in the hectic everyday life. In addition, the special surface makes the floor extremely robust, as the softer parts of the wood have been removed. Therfore the Arco and Arcolino surface is suitable for heavy usage such as in the catering or hospitality industries. Beech wood with consistent colour resulting from heat treatment (without chemical additives). Beech plank in 3-layer construction, bevelled (2.5 mm) on the long side and with approx. 2,5 - 4 mm top layer, with approx. 4 mm backing in the same wood and middle layer conifer. Tongue and groove on all sides for easy installation.

Wild View Farm includes a new “Forever home” (we deconstructed an existing house with a 90% landfill diversion rate), and enhancements to several working barns. The 80 acre site was an original homestead farm from the 1890’s. Both its buildings and soil had become severely degraded. The owners are working to holistically restore this property and make it a model of modern regenerative farming. They are planting hundreds of trees, re-introducing livestock and working with Dryland Agroecology Research and High Plains Permaculture to restore the soil. The -51 HERS rated home is not just energy-efficient - it’s a model of “Regenerative design”. The deep green house design included multiple challenges – foremost was how to create a Passive Solar design that also took full advantage of the massive views to the West. We solved it with an L shaped building that optimized passive and active solar strategies on the south face, then actively protected the western facade with a giant covered porch and tuned glazing. The home’s leading-edge energy package includes a Ground source heat pump, a large roof-mounted solar PV array, battery back-up, EV chargers, and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), Energy Star Appliances and windows, a robust foam insulation shell and LED lighting. We also endeavored to craft a modern day interpretation of the farmhouse typology, with a low-slung simple gable-roofed form that would feel like it’s always been there. The exterior material palette of limestone, cementitious stucco and heavy timber gives it a rich Colorado Modern Farmhouse feel. The home is full of custom details like walls of vaulted glass to capture the sweeping mountain views, an AI Smart Home control system, a sleeping loft for kids and guests, a hard-working Butler’s Pantry, a gourmet outdoor kitchen, a pool & spa, a cozy office nook for reading, and a lovely built-in bench for morning coffee. The absence of pigments adds to the natural softness of the hides. A light protective top, utilizing a proprietary formulation developed by the tannery creates the exquisite touch Legends is know for and makes the leather suitable for active family homes. Because of the depth and transparency of this leather, natural markings will be exposed and should not be confused as defects or deficiencies, but appreciated as Nature's Autograph of Authenticity found in the finest full grain leathers. Embossed Leather Description: The leather hide is first embossed with an ostrich pattern and then colored by applying two base color coats of micro pigments. The leather is then wiped-off to give it a contrast of colors utilizing the base color combination. This color contrast is further accented by two additional top coat colors that are wiped-on by hand to give the leather a beautiful antique look. The last step is to slightly protect the hand work of the leather hide with a lacquer topcoat that provides great depth and warmth to the finished product. 100% top grain cowhide leather is characterized by variations in shade, texture, color and grain. Healed marks and scars are to be expected and enhance the natural beauty of the hides. These variations should not be considered defects as they are normal and unique features of genuine 100% top grain cowhide leather. Frame Construction: Made with American Alder Wood, our frames are glued, screwed and dowelled at the joints. Two coats of high quality stain is hand rubbed on the wood finish and then sealed with industrial grade clear coat.

Located in a rustic mountain ski town, the client requested the ultimate in performance and aesthetic for this high performance private theater in his family's vacation home. Paradise Theater was hired very early in the project planning process, giving us the ability to coordinate with the architect to specify the ideal room footprint from the ground up. A robust JBL Synthesis audio system, Digital projection projector and Stewart Filmscreen, coupled with the performance engineered room by Paradise Theater delivered the pinnacle in private theater performance for this client. Natural stone and wood details were incorporated into the decor, providing aesthetic appeal, but also contributing a diffusive characteristic to the acoustical performance.

The homeowner's had been living with inefficient and worn-out cabinetry in their 1970's ranch. They had remodeled other spaces in their home and were now ready to take on their kitchen remodel themselves. We found cabinetry that was well made and within their budget and developed a plan for the stages of their remodel. Appliances, lighting and fixtures remained in their original location. The cabinetry was fitted with robust storage solutions to organize everything in a functional layout. The vinyl flooring was replaced with beautiful hardwood. This 2022 project for Sovereign Grace Music was a full-scale, purpose-built recording and production facility designed to support songwriting, live tracking, mixing, and video content creation. Working alongside the extraordinary Sovereign Grace team—and in collaboration with Authentic Carpentry—NILES handled sound reduction, audio integration, and all acoustic treatment design and installation. The facility features a full Control Room, a spacious Live Room, and a large Isolation Booth engineered for dry drum capture or vocal tracking during full-band sessions. Each space was crafted for accuracy, clarity, and intuitive workflow, ensuring that engineers and artists can move seamlessly between rooms without breaking creative momentum. Clear sightlines, generous lighting, and intentional layout choices make the studio equally suited for recording and video production. Every room is wired for a plug-and-play workflow, supporting multi-camera shoots, ensemble tracking, and efficient session flow. Behind the aesthetic, the acoustic infrastructure is highly robust. The Control Room, Live Room, and ISO Booth sit on independent floor systems with tailored sound-reducing wall assemblies and strategic treatments throughout. No suite is mechanically bonded, allowing simultaneous use of all rooms with minimal sound transmission. Monitoring in the Control Room centers around PMC 6-2 loudspeakers, precisely tuned to ensure accurate translation from mix position to the final master. The result is a balanced, inviting, and technically exact environment—built to serve the diverse creative needs of Sovereign Grace Music for years to come.

Kon-Strux explained that their clients wanted a total refresh on what was a dated, unevenly lit, and cluttered kitchen space. They noted that the family loves New York and the robust feeling of infrastructural history in older American cities, and therefore wanted to bring this into their home design. Kon-Strux noted that they started with an incredible large structural steel beam which grounds the main floor and acts as an upper gateway to the kitchen. They paired Edison bulbs with inset LED lighting to create layers of light in various temperatures. Everything about this kitchen is now "WOW".
