This Northwest Houston Texas homeowner wanted to get creative with his siding selection. They chose to install the LP SmartSide siding with LP shake shingles in the front combined with the 8" LP lap siding. They also chose to install new vinyl replacement windows from NT Window with prairie grids. The new LP SmartSide siding & trim comes with a 50 year warranty. Luminaire was designed to feel light and airy yet familiar and cozy – both inside and out. Translucent corrugated roofing is used along the north side of a butterfly roof, pitched to catch light throughout the full course of the day. From the oblique soft light of dawn and dusk to the sharp contrasts of midday shadows, the light constantly shifts with the weather and seasons. The rafters of deep eaves impart a rich texture to the exterior.

The streetside of the property received a major change as a large 2 story garage was built to replace a single story garage. The finished garage contains home offices and a exercise space on the 2nd floor. Solar panels were installed on the South facing roof. A new entry was built to accommodate the new door location.
