This Spring 2024 bathroom renovation project in Dilworth was completed in collaboration with Tailored Designs and focused on transforming both the primary and hall bathrooms into beautiful, functional spaces tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle.
The primary bathroom was redesigned to create a relaxing retreat with elegant finishes, improved functionality, and a timeless aesthetic. The hall bathroom received a complete refresh, featuring updated fixtures, thoughtful storage solutions, and a bright, welcoming design that serves both family members and guests.
By combining quality craftsmanship with carefully selected materials, these renovations deliver comfort, durability, and lasting style. The result is a pair of beautifully updated bathrooms that enhance both the daily routine and the overall value of the home.

This primary bathroom renovation focused on optimizing the space and creating a truly relaxing retreat. We began by completely gutting the existing bathroom and re-evaluating the floor plan to maximize functionality.
To infuse the space with personality, we incorporated a vibrant color palette, playful patterns, and unique finishes. The result is a spa-like oasis that perfectly reflects the client's vision and enhances their daily routine.

Designed as the home’s primary entry and exit, this mudroom balances durability with thoughtful style. Custom built-in cabinetry provides generous storage for coats, bags, and daily essentials, while the integrated bench offers a convenient place to sit and remove shoes. Woven basket storage below keeps items organized and tucked neatly out of sight.
Durable herringbone-pattern tile flooring stands up to heavy foot traffic, making this space ideal for busy routines and outdoor lifestyles. When we met this family of 5 (months from being a family of 6!), their first floor felt outdated and disconnected. They dreamed of a space that felt light and airy, yet infused with rich, earthy materials to create warmth and add bold character. More than just a refresh, they needed a functional layout that worked for everyday life—cooking, laundry, entertaining friends, and even unwinding with a cocktail at the end of the day.
Extending the kitchen into the morning room seating area enhanced both flow and functionality, while a spacious island became the heart of the home—ideal for casual family meals, meal prep, and hosting friends. A dedicated beverage station with a sink, refrigeration, and an awning window for indoor-outdoor entertaining allows for an effortless transition from morning routines to afternoon snacks on the patio.
The laundry room was designed with designated storage for all four kids, creating an organized and functional space. It also serves as a practical landing zone when entering the home, seamlessly extending the light and airy theme with thoughtful design details and playful touches.

The laundry room brings beauty to a hardworking space with playful color, custom cabinetry, and thoughtful details that make everyday routines feel a little more special.

The inviting breakfast bar, perfectly positioned as the focal point of this setting, is complemented by a discreetly integrated pantry and nearby counters and cabinets, all tucked away while remaining just within reach, blending more naturally with the galley layout of this modern kitchen design. Start your day in a space where convenience reigns, making even the earliest hours feel effortlessly manageable. The easy accessibility of the pantry to the breakfast bar further simplifies your morning routine, letting you glide from preparation to relaxation with ease. As sunlight streams in and the kitchen’s calm ambiance sets the tone, every detail works in concert to chase away gloom and invite brightness, no matter the weather outside.
This kitchen becomes both sanctuary and stage, a place where inspired organization brings renewed energy to every morning, and the promise of convenience makes every day a little brighter, right from the start.

Storage and organization were clearly prioritized in this design. Custom cabinetry offers ample storage space, while open shelving provides opportunities for display. Clever details like a hidden coffee station and pull-out spice racks demonstrate the kitchen's blend of style and practicality, resulting in a space that is as functional as it is beautiful.
