This dramatic vaulted living room centers on a soaring wall of windows overlooking the lake, framed by exposed steel truss beams and stacked stone columns for a striking mountain modern look. Reclaimed Wood Paneling covers the vaulted ceiling, Reclaimed Wood Timbers form the exposed beam structure, Reclaimed Wood Trim frames the doorway, and Reclaimed Wood Flooring runs throughout the space, bringing natural texture and warmth into this bright, contemporary retreat.
Every piece of reclaimed wood at Manomin Resawn Timbers is salvaged from 19th and early 20th century barns, factories, and warehouses, structures built during the Industrial Revolution from old growth hardwoods that grew slower and denser than the trees available today. Through our detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, that history is preserved and prepared for a new life in modern homes.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a space like this one, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood paneling, timbers, trim, and flooring to fit your vision. Weathered Antique Paneling from Manomin Resawn Timbers lines the ceiling of this rustic log cabin kitchen, showing off a naturally aged patina with unique sawn faces and a darker, moodier aesthetic. The paneling brings warmth overhead, framing a dramatic curved metal range hood, a live-edge waterfall island, and rows of cross-back bar stools below.
Our Weathered Antique Paneling is sourced directly from 19th or early 20th century barns. As farmers moved from hand hewing logs to circle saw milling, a surplus of timbers became the literal building blocks of the second industrial revolution. After over a hundred years, these timbers still carry their unique sawn faces and naturally aged patina, giving this paneling a look that can't be replicated. Through denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, we prepare each board for a prominent place in a home like this one.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner shopping for ceiling paneling with real depth and history, Manomin Resawn Timbers has stunning reclaimed wood to suit your needs. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood.

We used the timber frame of a century old barn to build this rustic modern house. The barn was dismantled, and reassembled on site. Inside, we designed the home to showcase as much of the original timber frame as possible. The custom-made brackets hold the stainless lights over the dining table.

Small space living solutions are used throughout this contemporary 596 square foot tiny house. Adjustable height table in the entry area serves as both a coffee table for socializing and as a dining table for eating. Curved banquette is upholstered in outdoor fabric for durability and maximizes space with hidden storage underneath the seat. Kitchen island has a retractable countertop for additional seating while the living area conceals a work desk and media center behind sliding shoji screens.
Calming tones of sand and deep ocean blue fill the tiny bedroom downstairs. Glowing bedside sconces utilize wall-mounting and swing arms to conserve bedside space and maximize flexibility.

Grand Isle Log Cabin Summer Camp
Whole-House Renovation of a Grand Isle Log Cabin Summer Camp
Tucked among the pines in Grand Isle, Vermont, this classic log cabin summer camp had been a beloved family retreat for decades, but it was in need of significant updates to serve the next generation. We worked closely with the owners to complete a whole-house renovation, carefully preserving the cabin’s rustic charm while adding modern comforts and functionality.
The project included reworking the interior layout to create open, light-filled living spaces, upgrading the kitchen and baths, improving insulation, and modernizing mechanical systems — all with an eye toward durability and timeless style. Original log walls were restored and highlighted, and new woodwork was crafted to seamlessly match the old.
Now, this rejuvenated log cabin is ready to host family gatherings, children’s laughter, and long summer evenings for many, many years to come — a space where memories will continue to be made across generations.
