Our designer, Hannah Tindall, worked with the homeowners to create a contemporary kitchen, living room, master & guest bathrooms and gorgeous hallway that truly highlights their beautiful and extensive art collection. The entire home was outfitted with sleek, walnut hardwood flooring, with a custom Frank Lloyd Wright inspired entryway stairwell. The living room's standout pieces are two gorgeous velvet teal sofas and the black stone fireplace. The kitchen has dark wood cabinetry with frosted glass and a glass mosaic tile backsplash. The master bathrooms uses the same dark cabinetry, double vanity, and a custom tile backsplash in the walk-in shower. The first floor guest bathroom keeps things eclectic with bright purple walls and colorful modern artwork.

This photo highlights the lovely custom-designed and built cabinets by Draper DBS that feature a gray pearl finish that brings an understated elegance to the semblance of a "white kitchen". More walnut? Actually, this is a hickory countertop with a dark walnut stain. The homeowners wanted a little more "toughness" for their countertops and opted for stained hickory. How tough? They still make tool handles and baseball bats from hickory, so tough enough for a residential kitchen.

Rift-sawn white oak cabinetry was carried all the way to the 10-foot ceilings, maximizing storage while adding natural texture. A large island anchors the kitchen, while small appliances are tucked neatly behind pocket doors in a concealed appliance garage. Paneled refrigeration and dishwashing units maintain an uninterrupted flow of material, making the space appear larger, and Taj Mahal quartzite countertops extend seamlessly up the wall as a backsplash. A subtle shadow line detail on the island countertop adds modern refinement.

This kitchen makes everyone want to spend time cooking. The palette was kept light with whites, grays and slate blue. This custom backsplash of ceramic tiles in varying hues of white and gray balances the quartzite countertops. We focused on a rustic modern aesthetic, the brass hardware on the cabinetry is repeated throughout on the acrylic counter stools and mixed metal pendants

We must admit, we’ve got yet another show-stopping transformation! With keeping the cabinetry boxes (though few had to be replaced), swapping out drawer and drawer fronts with new ones, and updating all the finishes – we managed to give this space a renovation that could be confused for a full remodel! The combination of a vibrant new backsplash, a light painted cabinetry finish, and new fixtures, these cosmetic changes really made the kitchen become “brand new”. Cabinetry The cabinets boxes that needed to be replaced are from WW Woods Shiloh, Homestead door style, in maple wood. These cabinets were unfinished, as we finished the entire kitchen on-site with the rest of the new drawer and drawer fronts for a seamless look. The cabinet fronts that were replaced were from Woodmont cabinetry, in a paint grade maple, and a recessed panel profile door-style. As a result, the perimeter cabinets were painted in Sherwin Williams Tinsmith, the island in Sherwin Williams Sea Serpent, and a few interiors of the cabinets were painted in a Sherwin Williams Tinsmith. Countertop The countertops feature a 3 cm Caesarstone Vivid White quartz Backsplash The backsplash installed from countertops to the bottom of the furrdown are from Glazzio in the Oceania Herringbone Series, in Cobalt Sea, and are a 1×2 size. We love how vibrant it is! Fixtures and Fittings From Blanco, we have a Meridian semi-professional faucet in Satin Nickel, and a granite composite Precis 1-3/4 bowl sink in a finish of Cinder. The floating shelves are from Danver and are a stainless steel finish. Flooring The flooring is a cork material from Harris Cork in the Napa Collection, in a Fawn finish.

Designed by Reico Kitchen & Bath in Chantilly, VA, this transitional kitchen remodel features 2 finishes, both from Merillat Masterpiece in the door style Montresano. Perimeter cabinets are Montresano Maple in a Biscotti finish and island cabinets are Montresano Cherry in a Peppercorn finish. Kitchen countertops are Sienna Bordeaux granite. Bringing the glass tile up to the ceiling creates a beautiful focal point in this fab kitchen. The owners chose a cleverly designed wall oven with side by side doors. While the convection microwave gives them the option of baking and roasting smaller items without using the full size oven.

A Scandinavian inspired modern family kitchen with a hint of mid modern vibe. The slim shaker profile on the cabinet doors provides a timeless mid modern accent, while the overall colour palette remains neutral with wood tones to bring in a sense of nature. Modern finishes such as quartz countertop and large marble porcelain backsplash are chosen for easy maintenance for a busy family.

Love this thoroughly modern kitchen, with its clean, functional lines! The countertops are Artic White Quartz with 2 ½” laminated edges and mitered waterfall end panels. The backsplash is iridescent mosaic glass tile in “Plantinum”.
