We consulted with Wheeler Kearns Architecture to create a warm and welcoming interior architecture that integrates seamlessly with the home’s modernist exterior and natural surroundings. Wood window frames manipulate the play of light and highlight unobstructed views to Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan. This powder room is the ultimate expression of the Grandmillennial style in this 100-year-old Prairie Village remodel. The design features a stunning blue and white floral wallpaper (a high-traction search term) paired with crisp white wainscoting that anchors the small space with classic architectural detail. The aesthetic is elevated with luxurious gold accents, including a sophisticated gold-framed mirror and elegant brass wall sconces with white fabric shades. This client has been a client with EdenLA since 2010, and this is one of the projects we have done with them through the years. We are in planning phases now of a historical Spanish stunner in Hancock Park, but more on that later. This home reflected our awesome clients' affinity for the modern. A slight sprucing turned into a full renovation complete with additions of this mid century modern house that was more fitting for their growing family. Working with this client is always truly collaborative and we enjoy the end results immensely.
