When our long-time VIP clients let us know they were ready to finish the basement that was a part of our original addition we were jazzed, and for a few reasons. One, they have complete trust in us and never shy away from any of our crazy ideas, and two they wanted the space to feel like local restaurant Brick & Bourbon with moody vibes, lots of wooden accents, and statement lighting. They had a couple more requests, which we implemented such as a movie theater room with theater seating, completely tiled guest bathroom that could be "hosed down if necessary," ceiling features, drink rails, unexpected storage door, and wet bar that really is more of a kitchenette. A central island in the kitchen brings the chef and diners together for casual snacks or elaborate dinners. We partnered with Jennifer Allison Design on this project. Don't pass up this cozy basement remodel. Everything you might need is at your finger tips. A beautiful second kitchen with all the essentials. This island is perfect for a party or a quiet night at home. These cabinets are semi custom cabinets with a soft grey tone. Don't miss two wine coolers at the bar. The custom tv wall unit is perfect viewing. The mesh doors on the cabinet are the perfect final touch. The bathroom is stunning and so functional. This theatre and concession area has it all! Custom finishes of a 'ticket wicket' booth, concession cabinet with extra storage for even more candy, pull out cabinet sliders for ease of access on either side of the candy shelves, popcorn machine and video games! The door to the theatre is faux leather that is tufted with nailheads. Inside the theatre, the look is more glamourous and accented with reds and plums. Gold crown molding adds to the luxe feel while the damask fabric on the cushions and acoustic panels offer a nod to classic design. Midcentury rejuvenation, Removed several walls to open up this ground floor to immerse into the Beaverwood landscape. Keeping to the original 1960 design, we used vibrant colours and natural materials. Custom-designed cabinetry, illuminated walnut canopies, glass top bar servery and for island snacking!
