This transitional kitchen design in Farmington Hills was done as part of a home remodeling project that also included a beverage bar, laundry room, and bathroom. The kitchen remodel is incorporated a Blanco Precise Siligranite metallic gray sink in the perimeter work area with a Brizo Artesso pull down sprayer faucet and soap dispenser. A 4' Galley Workstation was installed in the large kitchen island and included a Signature Accessory Package. The bi-level island has a raised bar area for seating, an induction cooktop next to the Galley Workstation, plus an end cabinet with extra storage and a wine rack. The custom Woodmaster cabinetry sets the tone for this kitchen's style and also includes ample storage. The perimeter kitchen cabinets are maple in a Snow White finish, while the island and bar cabinets are cherry in a Peppercorn finish. Richelieu hardware accents the cabinets in a brushed nickel finish. The project also included Caesarstone quartz countertops throughout and a Zephyr hood over the island. This spacious kitchen design is ready for day-to-day living or to be the heart of every party!

This beautiful white and gray marble floor and shower tile inspired the design for this bright and spa-like master bathroom. Gold sparkling flecks throughout the tile add warmth to an otherwise cool palette. Luxe gold fixtures pick up those gold details. Warmth and soft contrast were added through the butternut wood mantel and matching shelves for the toilet room. Our details are the mosaic side table, towels, mercury glass vases, and marble accessories. The bath tub was a must! Truly a treat to enjoy a bath by the fire in this romantic space. The corner shower has ample space and luxury. Leaf motif marble tile are used in the shower floor. Patterns and colors are connected throughout the space for a cohesive, warm, and bright space.

This charming Great Room was transformed into an inviting space for relaxation, reading, and socializing. This north-facing room comes to life with a rich colour scheme that also enhances the rich tones of the hardwood flooring, original to this cozy 1970's bungalow. Gone, however, are the bi-folding closet doors which too were original to the house -- they were replaced with sleek, sliding panels. By the time we were contacted to help our Clients with this decorating project, they had already begun the process, a few months prior, with the purchase of a cocktail table and side table, as well as a ceramic lamp. These accessories served as the starting point for the new room design, while inspiration came from the eclectic art collection that my Clients have acquired over the years, on their travels. Situated next to the home’s entrance, and adjacent to the dining and living areas, this kitchen will be the natural focal point of family life. The tone for this bright kitchen is defined by the Crystal Cabinets frameless Meadowland style door in simply white painted finish. The classic white cabinetry is offset by a gray quartz countertop and Alyse Edwards Half Baked Collection tile in “Icing on the Cake”. The bi-level peninsula separates the kitchen work zones from the entry hall and includes a round tabletop end with barstool seating for casual dining. The peninsula incorporates a 5’ Galley Workstation with an undermount sink and a Signature Accessory Package that has dual tier cutting boards, bowls, colanders, and a drain rack. The sink area also has Brizo Artesso Smartouch faucets, a Pedalworks Faucet Controller, and a Brizo Artesso soap dispenser. This galley style kitchen design includes ample storage in the main wall cabinets and the peninsula, and space saving measures like the built-in undercabinet microwave. The space is well lit by natural light through the large windows, as well as recessed lighting, pendants over the peninsula, and a chandelier in the dining area.

This South Shore of Boston client approached the team of Renovisions to remodel her existing basement bathroom. This bath, with an outdated fiberglass shower stall was cracked and leaking into the concrete floor below. The room had inadequate storage, was dark and did not boost this home’s overall market value. It was definitely time for a Renovision and the client was excited to get started! She was looking forward to sharing the new space with guests that stay at her home and use the bathroom often. Working alongside this client was fun and productive as great design and product choices were selected together. In the design process, Renovisions presented a unique idea; using the basement foundation ledge for a shelf that ran into the shower area, gaining extra space for shampoos and soaps, eliminating the need for a niche. Another great idea was to implement a Grohe Smart Control valve which brings this shower experience to another level; they can choose ways to spray with the right degree of warmth. The stunning stream-lined shower trims in brushed nickel finish match the style and finish on the single-lever vanity faucet. The contrasting dark grey, large format porcelain floor tile’s texture resembles a linen-look pattern the client requested while complimenting the darker veining in the quartz curb, shelf and vanity countertop. The Carrera-look porcelain shower wall tiles boast no-maintenance and provides a clean, brighter appeal seen through the beautiful custom shower glass enclosure. We lightened up the bath with a light blue paint color which added a fresh look, giving the illusion of a bigger space. As you can see, with the right colors, textures and accessories, we transformed this basement bath from Drab to Fab. The client was thrilled with her basement Renovision, a true Breath of Fresh Flair’!
