THE SETUP
Once these empty nest homeowners decided to stay put, they knew a new kitchen was in order. Passionate about cooking, entertaining, and hosting holiday gatherings, they found their existing kitchen inadequate. The space, with its traditional style and outdated layout, was far from ideal. They longed for an elegant, timeless kitchen that was not only show-stopping but also functional, seamlessly catering to both their daily routines and special occasions with friends and family. Another key factor was its future appeal to potential buyers, as they’re ready to enjoy their new kitchen while also considering downsizing in the future.

THE RENEWED SPACE
The new kitchen exceeded every expectation, thrilling the clients with its revitalized, expansive design and thoughtful functionality. The transformation brought to life an open space adorned with marble accents, a state-of-the-art steam oven, and the seamless integration of the Galley Dresser, crafting a kitchen not just to be used, but to be cherished. This is more than a culinary space; it’s a new heart of their home, ready to host countless memories and culinary adventures.

This dining room provides a formal yet relaxed elegant spot for the homeowners to entertain family and friends on special occasions. It's also the first room you see when you walk in the house so we had to bring in the pretty.

This stunning kitchen remodel seamlessly blends functionality and elegance while enhancing the connection to the outdoors. To create an open-concept space, we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, maximizing light and flow. The design highlights the beautiful cobblestone patio, outdoor kitchen, and firepit with expanded windows, including an enlarged sink window, a transom window above the sliding door, and an additional window that complements the dining room’s aesthetic.
The new kitchen layout includes two-tone cabinets—ivory and purple—that extend to the ceiling with lit upper glass sections for a striking effect. A large, multifunctional island features double rows of cabinets, a microwave drawer, a beverage cooler, a bar sink, and open shelving for culinary books. Additional elements include a built-in refrigerator, double ovens, a full-height pantry, a coffee center with glass displays, and a window bench with storage drawers. The custom oval dining table expands to accommodate the entire family for special occasions.
Luxurious touches like radiant-heated porcelain tile floors, a subway artisan tile backsplash with mother-of-pearl mosaic accents, motorized blinds, designer lighting, granite sinks, and brushed gold faucets and hardware complete the design. This kitchen is both functional and a showpiece, tailored for cooking, entertaining, and family gatherings.

Serious cooks and bakers have finally found their home. Combining an expansive countertop working space, the kitchen includes solid wood dovetail drawers with full extension. Both the doors and drawers have a soft-close feature. Designed for remodels as well as new construction, it is outfitted with organizational tools and plenty of room for movement around the island. Generation Xers and older homeowners will gravitate toward this design because of the contrasting colors, the ability to complete multiple projects, and the fresh lines of the cabinetry.
Designed to have plenty of space around the island, this area was created with the idea that more than one person can work at a time, making meal preparation, holidays, and special occasions that much easier to host. This kitchen is designed for a more rural setting but could very easily fit in any new construction home. The designer was inspired by a low country theme bringing in the warmth of the island with the richness of the Sapphire finished cabinets creating a truly down-home feel.

This spacious home in the foothills of Northwest Corvallis is an absolute beauty! Remodeling the kitchen and laundry room greatly expanded the possibilities for storage and organization and created an entirely fresh appeal.
The ceilings throughout the home had been paneled with warm, gorgeous wood. To build on that detail, we incorporated hints of wood in the new design at the range hood, sink cabinetry, desktop, and open shelving. There was also existing tile flooring that the homeowner wanted to keep, so light, neutral cabinetry was the perfect complement to the wood and tile, brightening the entire space. The two-tiered wrap around peninsula offers an abundance of room for guests to sit and eat or visit with those in the kitchen. It also serves to delineate the kitchen from the living area.
Although the kitchen’s footprint wasn’t altered, we did move the stove to the back wall. This change optimized functionality and set a dramatic focal point. The professional-style, six-burner gas range is sure to be a high-performer when cooking any meal. On special occasions when numerous dishes are on the menu, the convection microwave will come in handy, operating as a second oven or a microwave.
The under-counter dish drawers provide efficient storage and eliminate the need for pulling serving pieces down from an overhead cabinet. A custom pegboard organizer holds each dish securely in place to prevent shifting when the drawer is opened and closed. Conveniently located near the dishwasher, it makes unloading a breeze! Open shelving provides additional room to keep items close at hand and adds to the cottage feel. These homeowners have chosen to shelve small appliances in their newly remodeled laundry room that’s directly off the kitchen. In this way, it serves as a second “pantry.”
Adjacent to the kitchen, there is now a beautiful workspace. Its glass upper cabinets are a fantastic place to display pottery, dishware, and cookbooks. We borrowed a few inches on the end of a bordering kitchen cabinet to construct a message center and mail sorting console. What a clever way to create a spot for pending paperwork while keeping it tucked behind the cabinet doors.

This beautiful kitchen design offers the perfect combination of old and new, using different materials and textures to create a unique design statement. It utilizes reclaimed barn beams and siding for the pantry, the barn door as the pantry door, and stone accents in the kitchen and living room. These rustic details along with the oak hood and hardwood floors create a warm, welcoming environment. The white cabinetry and island, ample lighting, and open plan design provide the ideal atmosphere for everyday use and special occasions.

This cozy country kitchen is set in the middle of Rockaway Township NJ and designed by Creative Cabinet Designs. The project took several years since the surrounding rooms were also being renovated. The impressive exposed beam vaulted ceiling lets in tons of natural light during the day. The large center island is made of custom leathered granite and big enough for staging a buffet style feast for holidays or special occasions. The 6 burner Thermador range and vent also helps with cooking many different courses with the ability to conveniently cool and store food in the adjacent refrigerator/freezer columns.

The old kitchen really needed a face lift, and the customer has a large family, so entertaining a crowd at special occasions was very important to them. We removed a support wall and installed a beam to join 3 rooms together to create a space that a large number of people could feel right at home in! Pictures really don't do this kitchen justice, as it is simply awe inspiring when you are standing at the island! We were told that a recent 30 person gathering ended with everyone around the island having a great old time! Mission accomplished!

Michelle reimagined the space and created a fully open-plan layout with beautiful proportions.
This design was thoughtfully crafted for an active family with grown children who love to entertain. To foster a more social and connected environment, the wall separating the kitchen and dining room was removed, creating a seamless, open-concept layout ideal for gatherings. The living room was reimagined to function as both an elegant entertaining space and a comfortable family retreat.
A sophisticated neutral color palette is elevated by accents of blue and gold, adding depth and visual interest. At the heart of the dining area is a generously sized table, perfect for hosting. It comfortably seats eight, with the flexibility to accommodate four additional guests using stylish, portable chairs—ensuring everyone has a place at the table during celebrations and special occasions.

Let there be light. There will be in this sunny style designed to capture amazing views as well as every ray of sunlight throughout the day.
