Black and white color schemes have a long history of being associated with sophistication and timeless elegance. This classic combination adds a sense of refinement to the kitchen space that transcends passing design fads.
The stark contrast between black and white creates a visually striking effect that adds depth and dimension to the kitchen. The balance between light and dark tones creates a sense of harmony, making the space visually appealing and well-designed.
White elements in the kitchen can make the space feel larger and more open, while black accents can ground the design and add a sense of coziness. This duality enhances the overall aesthetics of the kitchen.
The enduring popularity of black and white kitchens can be attributed to their ability to blend classic charm with modern sensibilities, resulting in a space that is both inviting and stylish.

A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home.
We chose to go with a white kitchen as it is timeless and classic. This kitchen exudes a sense of elegance, cleanliness, and freshness. This kitchen creates an illusion of space and airiness making it an inviting and uplifting space.
Center stage of this kitchen is the benchtop and splash back! But the neutral backdrop of the white kitchen also makes the gold handles and tapware stand out.

This family bathroom has an 1800mm long vanity providing ample benchtop space with a lit niche for additional storage. Different tile sizes were used to create interest and feature the different areas.
The tiled shower with the glass screen and door makes the space feel larger.

Renovating a home to sell can be a smart investment, however it is important to ensure that the finishes will appeal to most people.
We went with a contrasting light and dark theme and added texture by introducing grooved panels to the feature walls.
The exterior was refreshed by choosing colours that work well with the surroundings.
The staircase became a feature on entry and really draws anyone inside.
Kitchen and Bathrooms were kept neutral but were opened up to ensure that they feel light and bright and spacious.
The carpet is soft and warms up the upstairs lounge and bedrooms as well as the large rumpus or second lounge space on the ground floor.

Using the same material for both the splashback and the benchtop creates a seamless and uninterrupted visual flow across the kitchen.
When the same material is extended from the benchtop to the splashback, it can create an illusion of expansiveness. The consistent surface treatment visually enlarges the kitchen, making it feel more open and spacious.
By reducing the number of materials and finishes in the kitchen, a cleaner and more minimalist look is achieved. This creates a sense of tranquility and simplicity in the space.

The bathroom was one of the biggest transformations of this renovation. There used to be a nib wall and boxing around the existing toilet. This was completely removed. The layout also changed. Vanity and toilet swapped locations. The toilet is now located by the window, allowing for a larger vanity with Mirror Cabinet. The client opted for feature tiles to the floor and to feature the shower and vanity walls by using gloss black subway tiles in a herringbone setting. We retained the existing batten walls to again give homage to the existing features of the building.

We all crave a space where we can switch off from the world at the end of the day. Bedrooms should therefore be a restful haven. Textures are the ideal way to give the bedroom a restful feel. Wallcovering can create a background to give your sleep space a peaceful feel. Knitted fabrics on the bed and textures in the curtains bring a small dose of pretty pattern into the space. To be really relaxed in your bedroom, you need soft surfaces to sit, walk and sleep on. Layering the space with sumptuous textures that are arranged neatly and a simple colour palette will keep the room feeling calm and harmonious.
The wallpaper print is called Heavenly Drapes and it does create a backdrop that is restful, yet inspirational. The curtain fabric adds texture, while the colour blends into the wall. The wardrobe sliding doors are back painted glass. The colour is the same as the walls, but the glass adds depth and a different level of gloss.

Sleek lines, neutral colours and timber accents scream modern sophistication. No matter how small your kitchen, a light, bright and stylish kitchen eliminates the cramped feeling that comes with it. Galley kitchens make full use of vertical spaces by using wall cabinets and shelving units to create more storage solutions.
The trick to making a small kitchen feel bigger? Playing with light! This kitchen incorporates all sorts of ambient and mood lighting to create a comfortable and relaxing space to cook meals, entertain guests and enjoy dinner. We kept the existing pass through to the dining area and accentuated this by extending the benchtop trough and having a breakfast bar. This really embraces the idea of open plan living., without having a single large space.

The entrance door really makes an impact. The glass received a customised print using the latest direct-on-glass digital printing technology.
The koru pattern is a welcoming symbol of unfolding.
The feature wallpaper is Elitis Wallpaper Natives Maori. It runs floor to ceiling over two stories and provides the tone for the upstairs areas.

We added the finishing touch to this inviting and cozy farmhouse family room with the Wazen White Pinch Pleat Curtains that you can find on our website www.spinandweave.com
