This client was looking to create a guest bathroom that had more of an "East Coast" feel. The vanity has inset doors and drawers. Wainscoting was added around the entire bathroom. The pony wall was added to the tub to accommodate fixtures to be within reach. One niche was added above the tub and another was added in the shower (away from view). The existing U-shaped kitchen was tucked away in a small corner while the dining table was swimming in a room much too large for its size. The client’s needs and the architecture of the home made it apparent that the perfect design solution for the home was to swap the spaces. The homeowners entertain frequently and wanted the new layout to accommodate a lot of counter seating, a bar/buffet for serving hors d’oeuvres, an island with prep sink, and all new appliances. They had a strong preference that the hood be a focal point and wanted to go beyond a typical white color scheme even though they wanted white cabinets. While moving the kitchen to the dining space gave us a generous amount of real estate to work with, two of the exterior walls are occupied with full-height glass creating a challenge how best to fulfill their wish list. We used one available wall for the needed tall appliances, taking advantage of its height to create the hood as a focal point. We opted for both a peninsula and island instead of one large island in order to maximize the seating requirements and create a barrier when entertaining so guests do not flow directly into the work area of the kitchen. This also made it possible to add a second sink as requested. Lastly, the peninsula sets up a well-defined path to the new dining room without feeling like you are walking through the kitchen. We used the remaining fourth wall for the bar/buffet. Black cabinetry adds strong contrast in several areas of the new kitchen. Wire mesh wall cabinet doors at the bar and gold accents on the hardware, light fixtures, faucets and furniture add further drama to the concept. The focal point is definitely the black hood, looking both dramatic and cohesive at the same time.

A dreamy primary bathroom in tones of gray and white with a dual shower and freestanding tub. The wallpaper is Thibault Aster Grey. The white mosaic tile blends well with the marble-style shower tile. Both his and her vanities are Shiloh in Arctic with a full overlay door. In this new beautiful kitchen we put in maple cabinets finished in Agreeable Gray, white oak cabinets with a custom stain finish, and statuary classique polished quartz with full height backsplash. We added new monogram appliances, a microwave drawer, a pro style wall pyramid hood, Brizo plumbing fixtures, and an Elkay workstation sink. There's a waterfall edge at the island. The upper cabinet has lift up doors at the range wall and additional cabinet storage on the backside of the island. We added in specialty cabinets such as a spice and utensil pullout, tray dividers, and trash pullout. We also put in custom appliance panels on the refrigerator, freezer and ice maker at the wet bar. Topped off the whole thing with under cabinet lighting in kitchen and wet bar, and power bars in kitchen, wet bar and under the kitchen bar top.

Upon opening the 8ft tall door and entering the foyer an immediate display of light, color and energy is presented to us in the form of 13ft coffered ceilings, abundant natural lighting and an ornate glass chandelier. Beckoning across the hall an entrance to the Great Room is beset by the Master Suite, the Den, a central stairway to the Upper Level and a passageway to the 4-bay Garage and Guest Bedroom with attached bath. Advancement to the Great Room reveals massive, built-in vertical storage, a vast area for all manner of social interactions and a bountiful showcase of the forest scenery that allows the natural splendor of the outside in. Master bathroom design & build in Houston Texas. This master bathroom was custom designed specifically for our client. She wanted a luxurious bathroom with lots of detail, down to the last finish. Our original design had satin brass sink and shower fixtures. The client loved the satin brass plumbing fixtures, but was a bit apprehensive going with the satin brass plumbing fixtures. Feeling it would lock her down for a long commitment. So we worked a design out that allowed us to mix metal finishes. This way our client could have the satin brass look without the commitment of the plumbing fixtures. We started mixing metals by presenting a chandelier made by Curry & Company, the "Zenda Orb Chandelier" that has a mix of silver and gold. From there we added the satin brass, large round bar pulls, by "Lewis Dolin" and the satin brass door knobs from Emtek. We also suspended a gold mirror in the window of the makeup station. We used a waterjet marble from Tilebar, called "Abernethy Marble." The cobalt blue interior doors leading into the Master Bath set the gold fixtures just right.
