Walking into this wine cellar holding 1900 bottles initially takes your breath away. The racking was made out of a clear-coated All Heart Redwood. The different elevations of the floor to ceiling racking as well as the different bottle display angels keeps your attention while gazing around the room. The back arched area is the main focal point of the room, while standing outside the cellar. However, once inside the cellar, the colorful stained glass instantly captures your attention (designed by Designer Glass Mosaic). Two glass cabinets were designed to store a large number of stemware and other glass accouterments. The custom ladder was built to provide access to the hard to reach special wines. Sliding case storage shelves gives the homeowner space to store the special wood wine cases. The glass double doors look into the handsome custom wine cellar adjacent to the "Man Cave". The recessed ceiling provides an added dimension to the otherwise square room. Due to the owners needs to store various wine bottle sizes, many different elements were included in the racking to hold 1100 bottles. A wood louver was built to hide the climate control air handler split system above the door. A high reveal display angle surrounds the room and is lit with rope lighting. The arch in the back of the room includes a front load stemware holder on either side with a stone countertop just above the drawer for decanting. Wood case pullouts allow for easy access to special case wines. Both corners of the room include void bottle bins from floor to ceiling as well as diamond bins to accommodate all bottle sizes. Our newest project is a beautiful wine wall niche, for wine collectors in Keller, Texas. The custom wine racking system utilizes metal vertical supports mounted floor to ceiling with horizontal metal storage rods. With a capacity of just over 470 wine bottles, this system features mixed display styles including 3-bottle deep, label-forward wine racks, angled display rows, and u-shelves for bulk storage. Additional elements include a stemware holder above a pouring station. The wine rack finishes are satin black anodized posts and parallel rods with black stained walnut rod brackets. The custom insulated, tempered glass enclosure has 3 sets of doors, with matte black hardware, allowing access to the reach-in space. Dimmable LED lighting in the ceiling provides ambiance while the LED lighting strips behind the stemware highlight the pouring station. The wine racks stand off the back wall making room for stone that adds texture to the space. This wine wall niche is a focal point of this beautiful home and is a perfect example of form and function.

A dramatically rich looking custom wine cellar located just off the basement entertainment room.
