A custom bookshelf that I built out of Birchwood. The shelves are made of plywood, while the face is made of a block of birch. There are indents on the bottom in the back so that it rests against the wall even with the baseboard.

My diagrammatic models are an inversion of the negative space of the courtyards, so the courtyard space is built up with a frame and the chipboard rectangles are the units themselves. Each module roughly represents one unit; the frame with two levels, as opposed to the one, shows which units have access to other units.

This fence's paint was failing and peeling from sun exposure over the years. To fix this, the fence was pressure washed, scraped, and sanded extensively before two coats of Shark Skin Solid Hide Stain were applied.

This lovely home in upper Capilano area had recently become covered in mildew, a very common problem in North Vancouver. To correct for this, we pressure washed with a bleach solution to kill any algae spores. Next, an oil based primer was applied to seal in any remaining stains caused by the excessive mildew and algae. Dulux Diamond Exterior Semi Gloss in White was then applied to all trim to protect the wood and provide additional protection.

Mary Prince Photography // This fully renovated 110 year home is located in downtown Andover. This home was formerly a dorm for Phillips Academy, and unfortunately had been completely stripped of all of its interior molding and details as it was converted to house more students over the years. We took this home down to the exterior masonry block shell, and rebuilt a new home within the existing structure. After rebuilding the original footprint of most of the rooms, we then added all the traditional elements one would have hoped to find inside this magnificent home.

Inspiration for a mid-sized contemporary master carpeted and brown floor bedroom remodel in Vancouver with white walls and no fireplace

This garage door needed extensive preparation before it would be ready for paint. Any failing/peeling paint was pressure washed off, and then scraped and sanded before a coat of primer was applied over any bare wood areas. Next, two coats of Ecologic Exterior Semi Gloss Paint was applied to the entire garage door, frame and inset windows.
