This main-floor home office was designed for a busy mom who needed more than a desk—she needed a space that felt like hers.
We created a warm, welcoming environment that balances function with calm. Custom cabinetry maximizes storage without crowding the space, while a curated mix of finishes—soft woods, textural fabrics, and warm metallics—adds dimension and comfort. Every material was chosen to support focus, ease, and a little everyday luxury.

A substantial house in one of the Peninsula’s most desirable neighborhoods, this residence was home to a busy family of five looking to design spaces that welcomed their large extended family and friends. For the living room, we were tasked with creating an architectural, elegant space to seat fifteen. A den/library highlights the homeowner’s passion for green. In the powder room, we selected green and navy grasscloth wallpaper for a burst of vibrancy.

A gentlemen's den where the business happens. Two Century Furniture leather chairs frame the windows that look out to an apple orchard beyond. Wool Karastan wall-to-wall carpet warms underfoot.

White desk in an scandi boho home office. Monitor pad is from IKEA, clear glass vase with pampas grass decor as well as clear brass box for business cards is from H&M. Bright home office interior for a lady boss.

A mural of pink peonies, scaled to fit the longest wall in the room, is strategically positioned as a Zoom backdrop. Walls match the mural’s off-black background, as if the artist had painted directly on them. Highlighting the tall windows, black painted frames add graphic interest against the cream sills. Simple cream drapery emphasizes the ceiling height while absorbing sound and adding warmth. A huge custom rug unifies the seating and working areas and further contributes to the hushed atmosphere.
In order for this room to feel more like a retreat and less like an office, we used regular furniture pieces in non-standard ways. The client’s heirloom dining table serves as a writing table. A pair of brass and glass consoles holds printer, stationery, and files as well as decorative items. A cream lacquered linen sideboard provides additional storage. A pair of cushy swivel chairs serves multiple functions – facing a loveseat and bench to create a cozy seating area, facing each other for intimate discussions, and facing the desk for more standard business meetings.

Distressed Knotty Alder cabinetry gives character and warmth to this busy home office and conference room. Design features include a desk with woven leather inserts and nail head trim, a computer station with pull-out mechanical storage, eight legal file units and a custom coffee bar with hidden appliances.

This first floor office meets the demands of this busy family with multiple seating locations and plenty of storage with the inset custom cabinets and desks. There is plenty of light in this office, thanks to the multiple windows and recessed lights. The dark blue walls and stained hickory hardwood floors complete the look.

Our Bellevue studio created a calm, peaceful sanctuary in this beautiful Sammamish home for our busy clients and their young children. We chose a neutral palette with pops of blues, greens, and wood tones to create a warm coastal appeal. In the living room, elegant furniture and comfortable fabrics create a charming, welcoming vibe. The primary bedroom is designed as a sanctuary for relaxation with cozy furnishings, soft colors, and a hint of greenery. Meanwhile, in the kids' bedrooms, we chose playful colors and cute decor that create a cheerful ambiance. The open-concept kitchen and family living room have a bright, airy feel, making it a great place for warm get-togethers. We also added a fun and functional office space with plenty of storage space for files and documents.

This in-home office was thoughtfully designed for a busy homeowner seeking a space that supports productivity while feeling warm, refined, and deeply personal. The goal was to create a high-functioning workspace that blends seamlessly with the home’s overall aesthetic while offering a sense of calm and focus throughout the day.
The design emphasizes intentional space planning, custom millwork, and integrated storage solutions to eliminate visual clutter and maximize functionality. A built-in desk and tailored cabinetry provide both architectural presence and practical organization, allowing the room to feel structured yet inviting.
Natural light was carefully considered to enhance mood and energy levels, complemented by layered lighting to support task work and ambiance. Textural materials, warm wood tones, and a neutral palette create a grounded, sophisticated environment that balances modern sensibility with timeless appeal.
Rooted in principles of environmental psychology, this home office was designed to promote clarity, creativity, and overall well-being — transforming a utilitarian room into an elevated daily retreat.

Driving the design of this home was the clients' need for a centrally located office to manage a busy life, as well as provide a homework and project station for their kids. The traditional office located off the entry and separated from the kitchen and main living area was not functional for their lifestyle. Instead they wanted a command center located off the kitchen so they could easily cook a meal, consult on homework, search for a recipe, and manage the mail within steps of each other. Once moved in, a secondary table centered under the lights will provide a daily work station.
