Working with a very small footprint we did everything to maximize the space in this master bathroom. Removing the original door to the bathroom, we widened the opening to 48" and used a sliding frosted glass door to let in additional light and prevent the door from blocking the only window in the bathroom. Removing the original single vanity and bumping out the shower into a hallway shelving space, the shower gained two feet of depth and the owners now each have their own vanities!

Inspiration for an eclectic living room remodel in New York

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.

Large picture windows looked out onto the empty narrow side yard. Our solution was to create a dramatic 3D modular installation with CorTen Planters filled with low maintenance cacti.

For the design of this beautiful home, our St. Pete studio used a variety of wallpapers in beautiful prints and patterns to create a modern, stylish, and sophisticated space. Thoughtful artworks adorn these walls providing curious points of interest throughout the home. Each area has a unique lighting piece adding a touch of classy elegance. In the bathroom, we added a pale green palette to create an airy, spa-like vibe. We also designed a stylish home office with a bright blue chair, plenty of storage space, and a beautiful, spacious work desk. The bathroom is flooded with soft white light thanks to several stylish ceiling-mounted miniature high-power fixtures. The dominant color of the bathroom is white, which perfectly reflects light, making the bathroom not only bright, but also attractive and visually spacious. The room is equipped with contemporary stylish multifunctional appliances including a beautiful undermount sink, a reliable one-piece toilet, as well as an elegant alcove shower. This bedroom wall mural is the perfect way to create the feeling of a larger space. It incorporates this family's love of Hawaii while creatively addressing the curved walls.

Inspiration for a large modern backyard tile and l-shaped lap hot tub remodel in Miami

Our client rents a condo in an awesome location on Mission Bay in San Diego. We wanted to play up the watery hues of her view while staying within her limits as a renter. We painted the space, replaced the interior doors (with landlords permission) and brought in additional furniture and accessories to reflect our client's blend of sophistication and beach charm. Example of a mid-sized minimalist guest bedroom design in Miami with white walls and no fireplace

This beautiful home for a family of four got a refreshing new design, making it a true reflection of the homeowners' personalities. The living room was designed to look bright and spacious with a stunning custom white oak coffee table, stylish swivel chairs, and a comfortable pale peach sofa. An antique bejeweled snake light creates an attractive focal point encouraging fun conversations in the living room. In the kitchen, we upgraded the countertops and added a beautiful backsplash, and the dining area was painted a soothing sage green adding color and character to the space. One of the kids' bedrooms got a unique platform bed with a study and storage area below it. The second bedroom was designed with a custom day bed with stylish tassels and a beautiful bulletin board wall with a custom neon light for the young occupant to decorate at will. The guest room, with its earthy tones and textures, has a lovely "California casual" appeal, while the primary bedroom was designed like a haven for relaxation with black-out curtains, a statement chain link chandelier, and a beautiful custom bed. In the primary bath, we added a huge mirror, custom white oak cabinetry, and brass fixtures, creating a luxurious retreat! ---Project designed by Sara Barney’s Austin interior design studio BANDD DESIGN.
