Stunning mountain views are framed by pocketing walls of glass. Minimalistic but substantial furnishings with clean lines and warm tones compliment the modern architecture and stand up to the loftiness of the architecture.

Inspiration for a farmhouse master white tile ceramic tile bathroom remodel in Portland with a drop-in sink, furniture-like cabinets, white cabinets and quartz countertops

In the late 50’s, this basement was cut up into a dental office with tiny exam rooms. Red House Custom Building designed a space that could be used as a home gym & media room. Upon demolition, we uncovered an original, structural arch and a wonderful brick foundation that highlighted the home’s original detailing and substantial structure. These were reincorporated into the new design. The arched window on the left was stripped and restored to original working order. The fireplace was one of four original to the home.
Harold T. Merriman was the original owner of home, and the homeowners found some of his works on the third floor of the house. He sketched a plat of lots surrounding the property in 1899. At the completion of the project, the homeowners had it framed, and it now hangs in the room above the A/V cabinet.
High paneled wainscot in the basement perfectly mimics the late 1800’s, battered paneling found under several wall layers during demo. The LED accent lighting was installed behind the top cap of the wainscot to highlight the mixing of new and old while bringing a warm glow to the room.

View of the eat-in dining area from a beautiful open-concept white kitchen with inset cabinetry, quartzite countertop, solid brass hardware and plumbing in polished nickel, a full-height backsplash including a pot-filler, undercount stainless steel sink, stainless steel Sub-Zero Appliances and an extra deep kitchen island in the Providence Plantation neighborhood of Charlotte, NC.

A massive expanse of folding nana-wall doors creates open-concept flow to the covered and heated patio, for year-round enjoyment. Inside, the greatroom runs the entire width of the house, separated by a substantial 2-way fireplace wrapped in stone to match the home’s exterior styling.

This 600-bottle plus cellar is the perfect accent to a crazy cool basement remodel. Just off the wet bar and entertaining area, it's perfect for those who love to drink wine with friends. Featuring VintageView Wall Series racks (with Floor to Ceiling Frames) in brushed nickel finish.

This well-proportioned two-story design offers simplistic beauty and functionality. Living, kitchen, and porch spaces flow into each other, offering an easily livable main floor. The master suite is also located on this level. Two additional bedroom suites and a bunk room can be found on the upper level. A guest suite is situated separately, above the garage, providing a bit more privacy.

An existing mid-century ranch house is renovated and expanded to accommodate the client's preference for a modern style of living. The extent of the renovation included a reworked floor plan, new kitchen, a large, open great room with indoor/outdoor space and an expended and reconfigured bedroom wing. Newly vaulted ceilings with shed dormers bring substantial daylight into the living spaces of the home. The exterior of the home is reinterpreted as a modern take on the traditional farmhouse.

The large custom shower is designed especially for steam showers. The transom can be closed while steaming. The steam element has controls inside the shower including an option for adding natural scented oils such as lavendar or eucalyptus. The fan controls are located right outside the shower door just in case you forget to turn it on. Either finish under the rainhead or use the multi head adjustable shower. We also opted to have this shower be curbless to visually add to the luxury appeal. Heated floors of course.
This Master Ensuite reflects the light, water and earth elements found on this home's substantial lake front site in south Burlington. Wall mounted shower bench seat and a wall mounted Kohler Veil toilet are design details. Luxury feel of marble envelops and calms. The seating overlooks Lake Ontario - great spot for a steam shower.

What a striking home! This home in South Baton Rouge was designed by Cockfield-Jackson and the clients wanted a complete landscape design that would accompany the architecture of this A. Hays Town inspired home.
Featured in this design are a substantial entertainment area in the rear, complete with an outdoor kitchen (built by Joffrion Construction) expansive pool with water feature wall, and a bluestone courtyard. Additionally, this home features a quaint side yard complete with brick steps leading to a bluestone courtyard with an antique sugar kettle fountain. The clients also needed options for guests to park. A circular driveway in the front provided a grand entrance, as well as ample parking for plenty of guests.
